May is Jewellery Month!

Once again, May is Jewellery Month on QVC and I’m delighted to have been asked to be the Jewellery Month Ambassador.

It’s a month jam-packed with anniversaries and spectaculars and I will endeavour to keep you up to date with everything on my blog throughout the month.

Here’s a taster of what you can expect…

We’ve got some exciting anniversaries from some of your favourite brands: Honora Pearls have reached an impressive 17 years, Lola Rose are celebrating 13 years, Premier Tanzanite have their 12th birthday this year, Bronzo Italia are on their third year and not forgetting Loverocks, who will be welcoming in their second year!

Jewellery Month

Two of those brands are taking the celebrations even further, by collaborating on a piece of jewellery for the first time. Honora Pearls and Lola Rose have designed a bracelet – do we think Katherine – the regular model for both brands – has had something to do with this!?

As well as checking out my blogs on Fridays to find out what is coming up the following week, you might like to join me for Spotlight on Jewellery each Friday in May at 6pm. As usual, it will follow on from Fashion on Friday – a nice girly two hours to start your weekend. It’s the first time Spotlight on Jewellery has featured during Jewellery Month, so I’m really looking forward to it.

There will also be special shows and features on the QVC Style channel and interesting blogs from the likes of Michelle Mone and Kelly Hoppen about their jewellery box essentials.

I think mine have to be: stud earrings, dangling earrings, my Links of London necklace, my Anne Klein watch (coming in a new colour) and my Diamonique tennis bracelet.

So lots to look forward to!

Plus, to add to the excitement, I’ll be running a weekly competition right here every Friday throughout May, so make sure you come back this week on the 29th April to see my first question. The winner will then be announced in the following blog on Friday  6th May and also during the Spotlight on Jewellery show on the same day at 6pm.

Much love,
Julia xx

    Hi Julia,
Looking forward to the coming jewellery shows as well as the fashion. The way the weather has been though I did say that I wasn’t going to buy anything else for the summer as we only seem to get a few weeks of really nice weather (if we’re lucky) and then it’s back to wearing our winter clothes the rest of the time!
Went to our usual place today and it was bitterly cold and really windy. Last year we seemed to have this cold wind until July. So I don’t plan on getting my legs out any time soon. I hardly wore my Birkenstock’s last year. But at least we haven’t had any snow . We had snow when I started my training ( I probably said already), back in April 1974. So I guess it’s not so strange, the weather we’re having now!
I’ve been watching the Durrals as well. I love the fashion from that era.
Well I’m off to bed. Hope you enjoyed your time off.
All the best, Tina S x

      Hi Tina
I know how cold it was in Wales on Tuesday as we were there. Chris and I went for a walk along the promenade in Mumbles and although the sun was out from time to time the wind was gusting and bitterly cold! Didn’t stop us having a cappuccino outside Verdi’s though!
I missed the Durrell’s on Sunday but caught up with it on Wednesday night – so enjoying it. I also have three episodes of Marcela to catch up on!
Enjoy Jewellery Month and do enter the competitions
      Julia x

I do not always read the blogs but as you are my favourite presenter on QVC having been with QVC for over 10 years now I decided to read yours. You are a footie fan and my son supports Everton and has done for over 35 years. He watches Bristol city as we live in Weston-s.Mare. Looking forward to you presenting the Focus on jewellery show again at 6pm Fridays as I always watch your 5pm fashion on Fridays. Keep up the outstanding presenting you do on QVC.
