Hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine – it really seems to be improving bit by bit. Still a nip in the air though isn’t there! Come on summer, you can do it!! Haha!
It’s been a brilliant week: last Sunday I went to see Lulu at her London concert, which was so much fun and we all agreed, as a performer, she is still top of her game! What a stage presence and what a voice!! Beforehand myself, Claire, Jackie and significant others (well, not me as I don’t have one!) had a drink together at Radio Bar, a great little drinking hole on top of a hotel with stunning views. It was so much fun hanging out together!
The following day I flew to Ibiza where I stayed for five days. I love Ibiza and have visited many times. This time was not to party or dance on beaches, it was just to relax, unwind and enjoy time with friends. I got to spend time with my friend and colleague Chloe and her friends, and I also spent time with long-time friend James, who lives there. I even meet his mum Maggie and we had so much fun together, I haven’t laughed so much in ages! Sadly though, the weather was rather poor and we only had two days of sunshine whilst I was there but I sure made the best of them, and don’t tell Abi Cleeve or Ali Young but I didn’t take any sun breaks! I felt I had to be in it the whole time before it went! I was wearing Ultrasun SPF30 the whole time though – does that get me off the hook!?
On the subject of beauty, it was in my #Top3Beauty a couple of weeks ago but I must mention again Margaret Dabbs Foot Hygiene Cream – look at my feet in the pic, soft, fresh looking and no hard skin, even after wearing Birkenstocks for a few days – its brilliant stuff!
Another highlight of Ibiza was meeting ‘Chico’ a little Siamese cat that James’ household rescued. He was in a car accident and needed lots of care to get him back to health (although they were not able to save his eye). He is such a beautiful little creature; by the end of my visit I had grown really attached to him.
So, that’s it for this week, do leave me a comment by posting below. I always love hearing from you. And here with a holiday theme is my #Top3Beauty:
- Ultrasun Family 30 – this is my favourite product from the Ultrasun range; easy to use, no smell and gives me peace of mind that I can be in the sun all day with no worries!
- Decleor Aromessence Solaire – I use this throughout the day on holiday to give my skin moisture and to help it get a lovely bronze colour from my time in the sun. The smell always reminds me of holidays now!
- Josie Maran Infinity Oil – I adore Josie Maran products and this is my all-time favourite! On holiday I was using it on dry areas like elbows and feet and also to prevent my lips from getting dry and cracked in the sun. It’s also brilliant mixed with after sun for extra conditioning – I just love it!
Sending you big, big hugs
