I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and for those of you still slaving away alongside the school run, the count down to school’s out is definitely on. Things are certainly busy in the Halliday household with my daughters dancing competitions coming to the end of another two year cycle.
The All England Dance Competition runs every two years with heats and competitions all over the country. We had the semi-finals back in May and luckily have made it through to the All England Finals that will take place in August, so fingers crossed that all goes well. The standard of the children involved, in all types of dance, is simply incredible and I swear the competition just gets tougher and tougher every time, but I’ll keep you posted. Meanwhile, the rehearsal schedule has gone a little crazy, so Mum’s taxi service is as busy as ever.
Unfortunately, I was so sad to say goodbye to Beauty Month last month, and that fabulous £1.95 P&P deal, but I have to say the beauty offers just keep coming and they don’t get any bigger than our Beauty Pick of the Month.
Philip Kingsley is a brand that became established in Mayfair in London back in 1954 and has been with QVC for many years. As trichologists they have a totally different approach to hair, with hair and scalp health at the forefront of everything they do. It’s important to remember that healthier hair and scalp leads to vibrant manageable hair that keeps its colour for longer, and is so much easier to style, and that is where Elasticizer comes in.
So our Beauty Pick of the Month is the iconic Elasticizer offered in a supersonic litre size! Not only that, this Elasticizer has an incredible new limited edition fragrance of Rose & Lychee that will transport you to a tranquil exotic spa, in the comfort of your own home.
So much more than a conditioner, Elasticizer is a deep hair treatment that you use before you shampoo once or twice a week and it will transform your hair to the luscious locks of your dreams. A litre of Elasticizer usually lasts me, and my length hair, around nine months and helps to keep my really very fine hair in great condition.
Plus, I know my colour lasts longer with Elasticizer too. I would highly recommend it, and definitely decant some to take on holiday, as it’s a perfect poolside or beach hair treatment, just let it work it’s magic, with the heat of the sun allowing a deep long lasting treatment while you kick back and relax. But don’t just take my word for it – here’s Lisa Caddy, a resident Philip Kingsley trichologist with more information:
So don’t miss out on our Elasticizer offer because it really is an amazing deal, plus I forgot to mention as it’s our Beauty Pick if the Month it’s free P&P too!
Now before I go, I just thought I’d let you know about a very handy little kitchen gadget that’s featuring as a TSV next week. The Red Copper 5 Minute Chef is a quick and easy little cooking device that makes it so convenient to rustle up a tasty snack or even a quick meal.
If your household is anything like mine, there are people coming and going at all different times and although we try to sit down to eat as a family wherever we can, with two hungry teenagers the quick bites to eat are never ending.
The best thing about the Red Copper Chef is that it can handle all sorts, from toasted sandwiches to omelettes and even a chicken breast, cooking quickly and evenly with the hot plates on the top and bottom.
It’s certainly perfect for one person and there is much less clearing up, with just a wipe over of the plates instead of the washing up of lots of pots and pans. Why not use the extra time you save to pop on your Elasticizer treatment! I love it when a plan comes together!
Have a great week,
