I hope you’re keeping well. I recently posted a photo of Geoff, the teeniest, tiniest, cutest little guy, on my social media and lots of people fell in love with him, just like me! If you don’t follow me over on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook the details are at the bottom of this post so come on over and join in there, too!
Back to my new little buddy, Geoff. He’s not my puppy. I think my cats would have a few stern words for me if I dared to bring a dog home. They’re not too keen on dogs. Having said that, a small dog, like Geoff, may just be able to convince them he’s one of them! He’s actually considerably smaller than they are! One best friend isn’t enough for me so I have two. A boy BFF (best friend forever), Steven, and girl BFF, Mandy. Geoff is the newest member of Mandy’s family and he’s absolutely adorable.
I’ve known Mandy since our eldest children were just over a year old and now they are 25! Back then Mandy had the loveliest little dog. Not quite as little as Geoff. In fact, she was more of a medium size and had the sweetest little character. Her name was Sally. We used to call her Sallydog and she was a true family member. Sadly, after sixteen very happy years, like we all do, she grew old and tired and eventually had to rest her tired little body forever. This was about ten years ago and poor Mandy was quite certain she’d never have another pet due to the heartbreak of losing Sally. She still has Sally’s ashes as she can’t bear to be parted from her but Geoff has brought unexpected magic and joy into her family’s lives. Mine too! In fact, I would love to adopt a rescue pooch, myself, one day. I just need to have a serious chat with Pixiecat and Popsiecat before that could ever happen!
I’m thrilled to be presenting an hour of Elemis on Saturday at 5pm with our lovely Keeley. It’s an Elemis Today’s Special Value day so there will be goodies galore to look forward to. The TSV is a real top to toe pampering set which could be split up as gifts if you could bear to give any away. There’s even a really cute tote bag included. I love bags like this for taking my lunch and snacks to work in but they’re also handy folded up in your pocket when you’re on the go and decide to buy something.
Back to the contents, though… for the body it’s all about de-stressing and luxuriating with the exotic fragrance of Frangipani Monoi in the Body Polish, Bath & Shower Nectar and the stunningly beautiful Body Balm. Then, for the face, Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser, perfectly timed Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser and, finally, the drum roll worthy brand new pro-col product from Elemis… the Pro Collagen Overnight Matrix for giving a plumping appearance to wrinkled, crinkled skin! I’m in! All of this will be offered at a very special price but only from midnight on Friday to midnight on Saturday. The entire collection is worth a whopping £218 approximately from Elemis! Tune in to see the savings plus expert advice from Keeley.
Finally, I’m thrilled to announce the arrival of Geox footwear at QVC! I’ll be launching the collection this Saturday at 2pm. They are an Italian brand. A very stylish and eclectic range offering something for everyone and every occasion from walking the dog to attending a wedding and all that’s in between. Something that really sets them apart is that they are known as being ‘shoes that breathe’. The founder, Mario Polegato, created the range due to his own feet getting hot and uncomfortable when running. He actually pierced holes in the soles of his trainers to allow for cooling and realised he was onto something which could provide a solution to those needing the support and flexibility of great footwear but with the comfort of true breathability. I can’t wait to try them out for myself.
If you love your fashion then don’t forget we will also have our regular, weekly Fashion Fix at Four on Saturday and Sunday. I’ll be with you this week. Katy Pullinger and I host the show on alternate weekends and we always love a little catch-up in the week about the new styles we have in our shows!
Have a great week, see you back here next Humpday (Wednesday)!
Love Catherine xx
