January – birthdays, beds and beautiful buildings!

Hello! How are you? How has January been? It has whizzed by hasn’t it?

I always forget how busy January is, I guess it’s getting back into the groove of a new year, but also my family has lots of birthdays in January – it’s my mum, dad’s and niece Jasmine’s all within the space of a week! Here are pics of the birthday lunch with my mum and a wonderful selfie taken by Jasmine of her and her sister Ruby. I love it!

I have also included a picture of my favourite station in London – Paddington. The day I was there to travel to Bristol it had the backdrop of a beautiful blue sky. Just wonderful!

Talking of beautiful buildings, I am feeling more and more at home in my new part of London. I live quite near the river now and I never tire of the city skyline. My favourite building is the Shard, but I am getting more and more fond of 40 Fenchurch street (otherwise knows a the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building). I am hoping to go and visit the Sky Garden there soon so will of course take some pics!

I was also lucky enough to host the premier of Comfortaire beds. I feel so lucky to be trialling one (seen in pics), and if you are tempted by one feel free to drop me a message to ask any questions. Getting to choose your sleep number or setting every night is pure luxury!

ComfortaireDo leave me a comment below. I would love to know how your 2015 is going so far and if you’re keeping to your resolutions (if you made any). How are they going??

Big hugs as always,

Hello mr craig, happy belated new year to you! Hope you are good, life not so bad for me at all and 2015 is going ok! I have only seen the shard from the ground and can barely look up at it, let alone go up there! Your beautiful girls are growing fast!

    Take care

    Hi Craig,
I used to work in the building that was demolished so that the Shard could be built. I was on the 19th floor so had good views, though I’m not good with heights. For that reason I wouldn’t attempt the Shard!
January is birthday month for me too which cheers it up as it seems a long one.
Love reading your blog and twitter updates Take care

What an amazing picture of Paddington Station – looks like it was taken in August rather than January!

I was lucky enough to see the comfortaire show, and although I didn’t make a purchase then I am definitely thinking of taking the plunge! I thought it was very interesting how your thoughts of what comfort setting you would be changed over the course of the show – I was also a firm believe in a firm mattress, but this has made me think again!

I hope your mum and niece had a lovely birthday and I am looking forward to seeing more pictures of your new neighbourhood and to hear about your trip to the sky bar.

    love Amy xx

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I must admit the Shard it is pretty high! A bit testing but such a beautiful amazing view from the top its worth it.

Love that idea! Finding a positive for each day is brilliant and teaches us to really appreciate life.

Thanks and hope you hear from you on my next blog which I will be uploading soon.

    Hi Amy!

Lovely to hear from you again :-). Thanks, yes the sun was really shining on Paddington that day, it looked lovely!

Great to hear you managed to catch the Comfortaire Show! It really is such a fanastic bed and a brilliant investment if you do decide to go for it. Its so lovely to be able to personalise the firmness of the mattress and to make it perfect for you. Let me know what you decide! I enjoy my sleep so much at the moment!

Thanks so much, my mum and niece Jasmine had great birthdays and its actually Rubys on Sunday so looking forward to that one too!

Hope to hear from you on my next blog coming out soon.

    Take care
