I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it!


But I’m not about to lose control… in fact, I’m more in control of certain areas of my life than I’ve ever been! And, as the song goes, I think I like it!

So what’s got me hyped up and feeling in control? Well, I am thrilled to have not only lost weight but have maintained it even with Christmas and New Year naughtiness literally under my belt! Many of you know I have dropped quite a few dress sizes and stones since last summer and you’ve been eager to learn more…


The wait is almost over as health and fitness guru, Christianne Wolff, will be joining me on the 9am QVC Morning Show on Friday, January 16th, and we will be bringing you her brilliant book. The press have been raving about it, too! This has been the key to my life changing results and I can’t wait to share it with you.


I have used many different weight loss systems in my time. I had some great results from them, too. Never before, though, have I found a plan which felt so suited to me. I love that I’m not counting calories or worrying about portion control. I really enjoy the food as it’s so yummy and I can really tuck in. In the past I’ve gone on weight loss journeys with a short term goal in sight and then returned to my old ways of takeaways and treats.

With this plan I have discovered a whole new way of living and eating which will see me through to the end of my days! I’m still allowed treats and days off but having changed my palate I’m now less keen to eat some of the old bad foods I used to binge on. Many of my colleagues have also started seeing great results on the plan, too!


It’s not all about the food, though. There is exercise involved but it’s not crazy. I work out three times a week for about half an hour a time. Once you make the decision to change your life it becomes so much easier. Because Christianne understands how relevant your mindset is in relation to weight loss, she has included mindset meditations which are helpful and relaxing.

My journey with Christianne began on July 16th so the debut of the book will be exactly six months on from then! I’m so delighted with what I’ve achieved and how much better I feel! For a start, I usually get colds every few months and haven’t had one since I’ve been eating so much more healthily. I’m not saying I won’t ever have one again, but I do feel I’m more resilient all round. I couldn’t be happier and it’s all become second nature to me now even though the first couple of weeks took a little getting used to.


My advice is to commit 100% if you decide to try it. Unless you’re willing to make the decision to commit to your own wellbeing I don’t think this, or any other system for that matter, will work for you. It’s not magic. It’s clean, honest, common sense from one of the most in demand personal trainer nutritionists around, and it really, really works if you commit to following it.

    Hi Catherine, well done, you look absolutely amazing. I can relate to everything you say about how you felt before, when you were over weight. I weigh the same as you did and have now got back on track with my slimming world diet. I managed to lose 2.5 stone two years ago and have piled it all back on. It’s not easy, I think for me, it’s the exercise I am just not good at it, but I am going to try and get better. I will tune in on the 16th jean good luck xx

    Hi Catherine,
    Congratulations and well done!!! You have every right to be excited and you look amazing. Just like Marjory, I lost a weight last year (almost 2 stone) and sadly have piled a good bit back on again. I work part-time and am also in the middle of a degree so I have been stress eating. I read a bit about the Body Rescue Plan and was very interested to see that part of the focus of the plan is to tackle your emotions/ thought processes around food. this would be very useful. I note that Christianne will be on the morning show on Friday 16th. Unfortunately I have to work but will be recording the show for hints and tips. Can you please advise if QVC will be selling the book? I would be very interested. Once again Catherine Well done, you are my inspiration. xx

    Well done hun, U look FANTASTIC!! So proud of you for doing so well 🙂 I would love to give it a go but I have huge issues with food and find it difficult to eat many things 🙁 there are even certain foods Im scared of he he – Im crazy!!

    Hi Catherine After seeing the beginning of your success on Facebook at the end of August I decided to give it a try. I have had FABULOUS results. Everything you say in your blog about the The Body Rescue Plan and Christianne so 100% true!! I have lost 21lbs 🙂 I didn’t gain ANY weight over Christmas (despite indulging). I highly recommend trying it!!

    HI Catherine you look amazing. I shall be watching you on the 16th as my husband and I feel motivated by you to follow this plan. I am a type 2 diabetic on insulin and as the start of the diet there are not any carbs I have spoke to my diabetic nurse as I am not going to administer any insulin, and then monitor my levels when some carbs are introduced again. Will let you know how it goes.

    So good to hear from you. I’ve heard a lot of people say good things about slimming world, too. Well done on your previous loss. If you did it before you can do it again, I’ve no doubt.

    I know what you mean about exercise which is why I like the fact this plan isn’t all about being a gym bunny. No equipment or gym membership required! In fact, I do my ‘pull in’ tummy exercises whilst I drive. Not dangerous, by the way as its just pulling in tummy and pelvic floor muscles. There’s always a little time we think we don’t have where we can do a little more than we currently are. I’ve also got the body blade and plan to start using it from next week. That’s a workout you can do in six minutes! Read more on Debbie Flints blog if you fancy.

    Dear Andrea,

    Thank you so much for your very kind and humbling words. Wow, it does sound like you have a lot on your plate, pardon the pun! Having said that, I’ve never been busier or had a bigger to do list than I currently do and I’m still able to stick to Christianne’s plan.

    I’m always very keen to say that it does require commitment, but once you get into the swing of it and realise you get out what you put in, it becomes second nature! I’m also always keen to point out not everything works for everybody but it’s about finding the right one for you as an individual. With regard to the mindset side of things this might just be great for you! I’ve downloaded the mindset tracks to my iPhone so I can listen when I go to bed at night. Very calming and good for the soul.

    We will, indeed, be selling the book for £19.99 with P&P included. It has loads of recipes, all the exercises you need, the mindset tracks and so much more.

    Secondly, go you!! What a great attitude you have already! I can feel the enthusiasm leaping off my screen! Keep that going and I’m sure you’ll achieve anything you want to.

    I feel so much better in just about every way…even if it didn’t lose me the weight I think I’d still want to follow the plan for the feel good factor in terms of health! I used to get to puffed out even walking up the stairs and now it’s not a problem.

    Thank you, as ever, for your kind support. If you were interested you could always buy the book and take it to your doctor to have them approve it for you? I did that at my annual medical check up and they went through it with a fine tooth comb and gave it a 100% thumbs up seal of approval!

I totally binged the week before which isn’t ideal but I’m human, ha ha! Now I never binge but I am way beyond the first twelve weeks so am allowed two days off a week. It’s such a brilliant system.

    I feel honoured that you’ve written on my blog. What an inspiration you are, lady! Well done on your loss. As I keep saying though, it really isn’t only about the weight loss, I’m sure you’ll agree. It’s the feeling better, more energised, healthy side of things which is great.

    I love being on the maintenance plan. I know I can keep to this forever. I’ve changed my palette now and, if I do allow myself a so called treat, I often find things too strongly flavoured or too synthetic tasting after developing a true appreciation for ‘real’ food and flavours.

    I’d love to see you back on QVC…any chance? One day? Maybe?

    Hi Pat (and hubby, too),

    I’m so happy to hear from you and very humbled to hear I’ve inspired you and your husband to try the plan. Well done for speaking to your health professional first, always a good thing to do. I’d really love to know how you get on.

    I’m currently enjoying a spiced apple tea and am going to have some homemade kale & vinegar crisps as a snack. I seriously LOVE this plan. I really hope you do, too. The first two weeks are the hardest but, for me, I didn’t find the that hard. Just a few caffeine withdrawl headaches in the first week. Most of all I missed my wine and hadn’t realised just how accustomed I’d become to just having a glass whenever I felt a bit stressed. Now I have it for special occasions. I bet that’s been a huge factor in shedding fat from the belly area.

    Well, I wish you both every success and do remember it’s a way of life, not some short term thing…once you get into it you won’t want to go back. Well, if you’re like me you won’t.

    I have ordered the book and am in the process of persuading my hubby to start the plan with me. I only want to lose a stone, but my hubby needs to lose much more. How restrictive are the first two weeks as I need to persuade him that he can do it. I think coffee and wine will be my demons, but I am 100% commited and eat pretty healthily already. You truly are an inspiration!

    Hi Catherine, so nice to meet you and Christianne at the beauty bash.
    I have been on Christiannes body rescue plan for the past 2 weeks and 2 days and have lost 8lbs. Not only that I feel much more energised. It’s amazing how much more supple I am also, I find each day as I get used to the exercises, I can stretch further.
    I can also wear my jeans which I could not fit into at Christmas.
    I am 62 years old so if I can do it I’m sure younger people could!
