How can I not start this conversation without being completely ecstatic about the weather? I am a true Brit after all!!
It’s been utterly divine and bugs aside, it’s really lifted 2019 which I felt was getting a bit sludgy in January if I’m honest. We even managed a sneaky Tuesday drink in the pub garden this afternoon – in February!! That’s unheard of!!! (Yes, they are the Moda in Pelle trainers btw!)
So, quick update re Beth for you since my last blog, we are now trotting – I know, very exciting! She is hilarious though because she makes it very clear to me when she’s exhausted, it has after all been an eight month break that she’s had. I think the time off has been good for both of us and our communication is so much better than ever before, she does make me laugh! Although, it was rather odd the other day, she asked to go in (she does this by stopping and bending right round to kissing the toe of my boot), we hadn’t been very long but I agreed as it seemed so heartfelt, and as we approached her stable, the heavens opened despite the fact that there was no forecast for rain at all. It was like she knew. Very spooky!!
What else have I been up to? I feel like February has gone by in a blink. I have a new respect, admiration and downright love for anyone caring for a disabled family member, it’s far from easy, takes huge amounts of sacrifice but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Dotted along are little gifts like sunshine, riding with friends, good wine and OMG this humongous box of lippies appeared in my dressing room the other day from Bareminerals – guess who got her hands in first? It wasn’t me! It wasn’t Mum either… no, it was the red head! 😉 (BTW, can you spot Moonface the cat in the pic?)
As March is upon us, and if you didn’t know, it is National Sleep Awareness Month too also we have a great range to help you Sleep Soundly I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give someone some lovely sleepy inspired goodies from Neom. We ALL know how important a good night’s sleep is and I don’t know about you but I really don’t function well at all without at least eight hours! So, if this beautiful set, called “A Perfect Night’s Sleep” – worth around £65, and consisting of Neom Tranquillity Scented Candle, Pillow Mist, Nourish, Breathe & Sleep Hand Balm and Perfect Night’s Sleep Face Oil – looks like it has your name written all over it, all you need to do is answer the following question in the comments box below before midday next Thursday 7th March:
In a famous play written by William Shakespeare, Caesar was stabbed to death at a meeting of the Senate. Before this terrible act takes place, Caesar is warned by the soothsayer to “beware the Ides of March.” Which Shakespeare play was it?
A – Much Ado About Nothing
B – Romeo and Juliet
C – Julius Caesar
