Hello Summer!

Hope you have been enjoying the beautiful weather making some time to relax, whether you’re off on holiday or not.

I was lucky enough to have a dash to France last week. The weather was beautiful, as here, and I stepped out of the business of London for a few days.

I visited Cassis for the first time, which was charming.

… and a beautiful old abandoned medieval village on a hillside called Oppede.

Both stunning, in very different ways.

Travelling is always so life enhancing I think, giving you both time to reflect on and put into perspective or context other areas of your life!

Having said that I always say it’s lovely to go away, but even nicer to come home! Perhaps it’s the Cancerian crab in me.

August beckons another exciting month here at QVC. Not least because of the opportunity the Jewellery Icon for August heralds for us all! If you have ever fantasised about having the ultimate endless string of pearls, that’s exactly what we have for you.

The confidence I have in our expert buying teams accessing exceptional quality at an amazing price – largely because they absolutely know what they’re looking for and what’s more, where to look for it – is what makes me consult them before anyone else, when it comes to buying.

They have really surpassed themselves here.

This is a piece of jewellery that deserves a place in every woman’s collection. A piece that can be handed on to future generations, and a piece of jewellery that marks the uniqueness of us as women – the divine feminine – in conjunction with the effortless, timeless chic of pearls. It’s a must-have, no matter who you are or what your style!

Anyway, have a look and see if you can resist them, whilst at this amazing price and EZ Pay… I couldn’t!

I wish you happy and sunny days over this Summer and hope that no matter what is happening in your world, you make time to remember how precious life is, and that it is to be enjoyed.

Do let me know what you’re up to over the Summer and please, what do you think of the pearls?! Waiting to hear from you….

Happy days & love,
Sara x

    Hi Sara,
Your photos from your France holiday are lovely – I agree with you, when I get time away, it always gives me a fresh perspective on things and also makes me appreciate what I do have.
This year, we’re not going away but we are planning days out, including visits to the coast. As mentioned before, I LOVE being near the sea and it’s somewhere where I can completely relax and return from, feeling invigorated. I am a born worrier so relaxing isn’t second nature, unfortunately!
I watched the video of the pearl necklaces and they really are beautiful – the lustre and the colours are very ‘pure.’ I may be tempted!
You take care and I hope you have a lovely Summer ahead of you – where to next I wonder?!

    Hi Sara
I just love pearls – my favourite being Keishi and Biwa pearls. They are unique and have amazing lustre. Own over 20 pieces of Honora pearls in my collection – my last Honora purchase from QVC was a 3 strand stretch bracelet with Keishi stations… absolutely gorgeous!
I recently watched some of your jewellery show and heard you say that the amethyst is the stone for Pisces and February just thought I would correct this as you were the second person (Jackie) to say that on air – amethyst is the birthstone for Aquarius and February.

This does not need to be posted but just realised that my full name will be shown with my last comment and would prefer my surname not be shown for personal reasons. Could that be changed as below. Thank you.

    Hi Sara,
I look forward to your next post and having “gone on” about the sea and how desperate I am to visit it, just to let you and lovely Susan know that my partner Ian sprung a surprise on me last week and we visited my favourite beach, Knoll Beach, in Studland Bay, Dorset. I was in heaven! We’re now saving up for a trip to Cornwall next year – Italy is on hold due to cost!
    Take care both of you,
    Beth XX

Thank you so much all of you for your thoughtful posts. I love hearing your stories re holidays or no holidays 🙂 and also always happy to know if we say something not right… one of the best things in at QVC is learning so much, and I must admit, it’s hard to get it right all the time! Anyway, I managed to miss these posts, so thank you Beth, Susan, and Ayesha very much, and apologies for the delayed reply! Hope to write again soon, Sara x
