I’m just squeezing in one more quick blog before the big day! Having worked over Christmas for the past two years, this year I have a week off and I can’t wait. The presents are all bought and wrapped and the tree is up – I say tree, but I’ve actually put up three trees this year!
We have a small, traditional tree in the hall, a beautiful white Alison Cork tree in the conservatory and another modern “twiggy” tree in the lounge. I’ll be back at work on the 29th and working right through New Year so I’m planning to make the most of my time off with fun days planned with family, friends and neighbours.
I’m excited about 2019 – for me I think it will be a year of change and challenge, and I hope some celebration too, but who knows what life will throw at us? If you love Christmas like I do, have a wonderful one; if you find this time of year sad or difficult, I hope you get through it in the best way you can; and if you don’t celebrate Christmas, happy end of December to you! See you on the other side.
Love to you and yours,
