Great news to share

Well, I did promise I would bring you all the news from my daughter’s dance competition in Spain.

So, just to keep those of you just joining us up to date, I was in Barcelona last week for the Dance World Cup. This amazing dance competition covers all genres of dance and this year over 45 countries were competing.

My daughter Cassidy had the most fantastic experience, having been selected to compete as part of Team England, and she managed to come away with a silver medal.

I was so proud of her and her friends, they performed amazingly and to leave with a silver medal was just the icing on the cake.

The competition took place in Sitges just outside of Barcelona, and I would definitely recommend a visit to Sitges if you are ever anywhere near. It was beautiful, with a real old world charm, lovely people and great food. Having said that we were constantly on the go, so despite having a terrific time I was quite exhausted by the time we flew home.

Luckily, by the time I got home my Silentnight pillows were waiting for me. I’d been asked to try out the pillows, which are featuring as our Today’s Special Value all day on Tuesday.

At first I thought it was just because I was so tired that I slept so well but after a few nights I realised that the pillows were making a huge contribution to my beauty sleep and it wasn’t just me, hubby loved them too!

Silentnight are a brand that started as far back as 1946, and not only are they one of the biggest and most-loved bed brands in the UK, they have most definitely achieved super-brand status.

Their emphasis for 2018 has been to continue their sustainability and extend their eco focus. That coupled with their unrivalled retail relationship with QVC means that we get the latest in sleep technology at incredible prices.

The pillows come in a pack of four and are so affordably priced. They have been actively created to help protect from bacteria and dust mites and keep allergens at bay, so much so they have approval from Allergy UK.

I thought the pillow was just perfect, it was a bit of a Goldilocks moment, not too soft, not too hard, just right. It honestly wasn’t until I compared the Silentnight pillows to my old pillows that I realised the old ones were really not offering much in the way of support anymore.

I actually can’t remember the last time I replaced my pillows, I know we are meant to change them every two years but time flies and I know it’s probably been much longer than that.

I really thought I had been sleeping more restlessly lately because of the heat, but the pillows have definitely made a difference.

Encased in cool pure cotton covers the pillows have 650g grams of anti-allergen hollow fill fibre, and of course the beauty of QVC is you can try them out with our 30 day money back guarantee.

I would recommend that you give them a try, especially if like me you have held onto your old pillows for far too long and with four in the set you can afford to re-pillow the whole family. After all I need to make sure my Cassidy gets her rest, who knows what medal opportunities are up for grabs in the future?!

Take care,

Jilly x
