Gorgeous Geller gift for Beauty Day and baby fun!

This week, we have the new Laura Geller Christmas Today’s Special Value offer for Beauty Day on Sunday, and a Cozee Home hashtag for a warm winter!

Altogether now – awwwww! Had a lovely trip to see baby Phoebe and daughter Lauren and co last weekend, at the end of my Devon week, diverting via Wales! She’s now four weeks old, how time flies! Seriously – where does it go? Having put on over a pound she’s doing really well. One of my highlights was a trip to the local town, Newcastle Emlyn, with bubba in her pram and the rain teeming down. But we were nice and cosy in one of the cafes, and on the way home she sat in her car seat gazing at the world going by, like a little old soul. She is wonderful. Her cousin Blake also came to see me with my son Brad on Sunday. Blake is now 9 and a half months old and met Oreo the cat! She thought he was very funny and he patted her hands a couple of times making her giggle. Ahhh. This pic was when Blakey was crawling across the floor to see the kitten, hiding under the sofa at my brother Glenn’s! Looking forward to seeing Blake again on Monday and then Lauren and Nick coming down to Devon for a week next week! Yay! Happy times…

QVC team in Cozee Home

To coincide with the new hashtag for Cozee Home – #myCozeeHome – we are looking for your pics of yourselves with your cats/dogs/rabbits/crocodiles etc – cuddled up under one of our Cozee Home throws. So here’s one of the best so far – how many of these presenters can you name? Susie Adams posted this pic of the gang under the softest, cosiest throw in the guest lounge – just right for this snap of cold weather that’s finally arrived! Watch out for more over the next few weeks in the run up to the big offer coming soon, and see the whole range online here, including electric ones you can warm up with even faster.

Kitty Cat Oreo Boxing around

Talking of the cat, as we were above, here he is in his latest incarnation – finding a cardboard box utterly fascinating. Click on the link to see the post that I put on Facebook this week! Also if you like my vlogs, although there haven’t been many for a little while ‘cos of my hectic schedule, I managed to do this behind the scenes vlog at QVC this week – enjoy! (And ‘like’ the Facebook page and my other social media to keep up to date on all the latest news… including on Monday 5th when I will be helping to post the first links for our annual massive Christmas beauty TSV which happens soon afterwards… more on Monday! Follow all the social media, as below, for first updates.)

Best Hallowe’en Make-up

My talented niece Becky Kempton did this for Hallowe’en – isn’t it amazing! I wondered which her actual eyes were! Lol. This year my Hallowe’en was a quiet one, writing this blog and watching the Apprentice, as it happens! But the last day of October had significance for my daughter Lauren who’s always loved it, as not only did she and Nick carve their usual pumpkins but they set up a little tableau and put baby Phoebe in a cut out pumpkin to take some Hallowe’en pics – funny!

Diamonique Design of the Month

Wow look at these little gems! Reindeer stud earrings – the new Diamonique design of the month! And around £20, a super price for a gift for someone special – watch out for them during the month, and the new beauty product of the month, with no P&P to pay, which you can get first here!

Well we all went to see the Freddie Mercury film and it was faaaabulous! As I wrote on my home news blog on my website, along with some fab updates about baby news, a big group of us went to see it in Okehampton. The Merlin cinema there has some amazing offers and I wish I had more time to take advantage of the low prices. The Freddie Mercury and Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, was BRILLIANT. Just loved it, all the music, the nostalgia and seeing what unfolded behind the scenes of the soundtrack to many of our lives. Just love films. This one I would definitely go and see again, and seven of us went this time – girls night out down in Devon! I’d give this film 8.5 out of 10 I think.

On our way home from Wales this time I managed to go to see a pal of mine from Retreats for You, lovely Katy Mitchell who lives in Monmouth in Wales, and stayed there overnight. Turned out she was off to the village hall film night so I went too – to see Phantom Thread. It was very… intense. A good vehicle for Daniel Day Lewis and has a rather strange ending. 7.25 out of ten I’d say.

What did you see recently that you’d recommend?

Book of the week

Alison Keenan’s A New Kind of Normal – she’s done it! It’s out in paperback and I’m sooooo proud of her. Alison Keenan has had a heck of a decade, but triumphed over adversity. Her story full of hope and determination, is chronicled in this biography and at the weekend it even reached number 5 in the Amazon Top Ten New Releases, Memoirs chart. I love the way she writes – she is very talented, and peppers her tale with wit and pathos. Highly recommended – and well done Ali!

Blooper Bonanza – #1 – Emu booboo

Funny on-air moment with Sarah this week when she forgot her jug – so we improvised…

KitchenAid – Blooper #2 – Charlie’s ‘egg on face’…or head!?

My fab colleague Charlie was hilarious this week when he challenged Edd Kimber to a ‘meringue whisk duel’ – who could use the wonderful hand mixer to whisk up egg whites stiff enough to put over his head… skip to the last 30 seconds – it’s funnyyyyy!

Here’s the whole range of KitchenAid items on our website – as KitchenAid month continues! Snap up the deals whilst they’re available!

This week on QVC

Monday – Peony return with a lovely offer – the ‘Her Favourite Flower’ winter berries and foliage in a ceramic pot and four votives in a gift bag! Wow what a lot you’ve got!

Tuesday – The Emu Explorer Waterproof Kerie Leather and Sheepskin mid rise boot with zip – a leather one – and it’s waterproof! Squeee!

Wednesday – Julien Macdonald’s range always brings us something fantastic for the festive season and this time it’s the fab JM Home lamp with black shade in a choice of styles.

JM home

Thursday – Aurora by Swarovski are back with a neat little crystal friendship bracelet and watch set for an unbelievable price.

Friday – And finally on Friday it’s fashion – Kim & Co bring us a first – a croc pleather biker jacket! And again a brilliant price. What an unusual Christmas gift this would make.

And of course, at the end of the week, you’ll be able to take advantage of one of the biggest deals of the year – the big Christmas beauty bundle from one of our biggest beauty brands, with an irresistible Early Bird order link – don’t miss it on my social media!

Next week on the blog – Bonfire night with Blakey and a week in Devon with lovely Lolly and family. Looking forward to it!

Best wishes

Dee – thanks so much! Well my iphone diary helps! Seriously – being on the go all the time, especially in Devon, but also having major chillaxing times when at my brothers when in London!
