Susan Boyle, the woman who dared to 'dream a dream', came in to see us at QVC recently and I was lucky enough to get some time with her to sit down, have a chat.
I asked her all about her new album (her 4th) which she has themed around one of her favourite genres, The Musical, the inpirations behind her album and what it was like working with some of legends that feature on it!
I began by asking her about her love of musicals and her inspiration behind the album.

On the album Susan duets with Michael Crawford, a legend in the stage musical world and the original Phantom, not only that, she also duets with the man that she has been a fan of since the age of 13, in fact it may not be too much of an exaggeration to suggest that Susan may well be his biggest fan, I am of course talking about Mr. Donny Osmond. I got to ask her what that was like.
There are many famous musicals from stage and screen represented on the album like Cats, Carousel, Phantom of the Opera and her beloved, Les Miserables which helped to launch her career. I asked Susan about some of these and what she has to do today in order to keep her famous voice in tip-top condition.
Susan is an incredibly inspirational and humble person and she has come such a long way in such a short time. I wish her every success with her beautiful new album and I know you will all join me in that.
