Get the look with Laura Geller

Hope everyone is well and happy?

Firstly some news and updates, my Dad is looking a little bit stronger, thankfully he’s on the mend after breaking his femur so hopefully our family trip to Venice in May can still take place.

On that note if you have any top or insiders tips for restaurants or attractions in Venice then add them below as a comment please, I’d appreciate them. I’ve never been so I’m really excited and just hope Dad is strong enough to cope, he has an X-ray and a consultation appointment soon so we’ll know more then.

Closer to home, well actually in the home the renovations are almost finished. I now have windows and a kitchen, hooray! Next job is to tackle the garden, but I must have a chat with Richard Jackson before taking any drastic action, he’s the man in the know. In the meantime I am using the wonder that is his Lawn Magic because the equipment for the building work has all been stored in the garden over winter and destroyed the lawn in patches, so I’ll keep you updated on the results.

I’m loving wearing my Spring Summer wardrobe, the change out of winter clothing is a welcoming change. I’m particularly impressed with Betty & Co on our website and also many of our footwear ranges

Also keep a keen eye out on the Taya Today’s Special Value on Wednesday 12th April. They’re bringing their best selling range Inner Core (with fab reviews online), a three piece collection featuring their Hair Strong Anti Breakage Shampoo Supersize 500ml, Anti Breakage Conditioner full size 250m and Anti-Breakage Brazilian Black Clay Mask a superb system that reduces breakage by 3 times after just one application.

The ingredients help reinforce the hair cuticle itself to resurface fragile, tired, brittle weak hair that’s prone to breakage and quite often restricts us growing our hair. If you fall in that category I’d highly recommend you invest in this one day deal.

Keep your eyes posted for my next blog, there’s a big Elemis giveaway!

Toodle pips, stay strong, happy and healthy!

Hope your dad is fit for Venice, you have to go over to Morano to the glass factory. Its amazing. You will feel like James Bond as you shoot through the water on a little speed bus! We loved it hope you do too x

Laura Geller tsv looks lovely. When I went to Venice (which is gorgeous) we had 1 coke, 1 beer and 2 ice creams in st marks square . It cost equivalent of £43. So I recommend eating somewhere outside of st Marks square. Glad dad is doing ok.

    Love Melissa xxx

Venice is one of my favourite places ever, I’d recommend getting a ticket for the waterbus on the first day, invaluable, go to Murano, in many hotels you can ask at reception to arrange a motor boat to Murano for free, they won’t bring you back unless you spend thousands hence the waterbus ticket before you go. Also a great tourist information on top left corner of St Marks square. Enjoy!!!

Your poor Dad. That’s a nasty injury. I’m sure you’ll love Venice. It’s one of my favourite places – I think I’ve been about six or seven times! Spoilt! Lovely just to wander around, or get on the vaporetto and see the sights from the water if your Dad will struggle with walking too far. Loved the florian for coffee in St Mark’s square. A bit pricey but really charming. Quite hard to pick a specific attraction as it’s all pretty amazing. Have a great time! x

    Hi Chloe
Went to Venice for a break. A gondola ride is a must. Go with other people or you will have to pay much more. Sit in St Marco Square for a decadent hot chocolate or something stronger and watch the world go by. Have a fab time x
