Hi there! Hope you are well.
Wow, what a great (and very busy) couple of weeks it’s been!
Last week I had dinner with two university friends, Marcia and Ruth. We were rather gobsmacked when we realised we all met 23 years ago! Where does the time go eh?!
Then on the weekend I had a get together with friends and family to watch the first episode of the CBeebies show I am co-hosting go out. It was great fun and after seeing the show we went to the park where we sunbathed, played games and my niece Ruby fell in love with every dog she saw!
Then in the week I had, like many Londoners, several challenges getting around due to the tube strike. I often use the bikes you can hire to get round the city, but that day it was like the whole world had taken to two wheels. You can see in the photo – a sea of bikes in Soho Square! The bike company put in a system where you could dock the bike and then they would remove it to make space for another bike to take its place. It was like a sea of bikes!!
Did you see Davina McCall with her new fitness DVDs when she was at QVC? I wasn’t there that day but as I am such a big fan of hers! The lovely Debbie Flint took a hello photo message with her and sent the snap to me – it made my day!
Finally, keep an eye open for the mini SBC Today’s Special Value coming soon. The minis are quite rare and it’s a full collection of them. I am taking mine on holiday to France this week so it’s perfect timing. I am sure you will agree that they are just the right size to either try SBC for the first time, or pop in your gym, travel or overnight bag if you’re already a big fan.
And whilst we are talking about this fabulous skincare brand, this week’s #Top3Beauty is all SBC:
1. Collagen Gel – I love using this under moisturiser on both my face and body, and apply it thickly as a hydrating mask. This time of year, keep it in the fridge – so wonderfully refreshing!
2. Arnica Gel – I find this so comforting. When I had a bad back last year it brought so much relief and now with life being so busy at the moment, I find applying a thick layer of it on my neck and shoulders is very soothing.
3. Camphor & Menthol Massage Gel – this is bliss on the neck and shoulders for tension relief. I also add it to foot creams to ease tired feet. It’s also wonderful to rub between your hands and simply inhale the vapours to clear your head – perfect for hayfever season!
So what is your favourite SBC product? Please post a comment below.
Much love and see you soon!
