The Body Rescue Plan

Fresh starts!

Hi everyone,

I haven’t been about the past couple of weeks unfortunately as I’ve been a tad under the weather. However now back in the land of the living thank goodness. Am I too late to wish everyone a Happy New Year? Am I also too late to talk about New Year’s resolutions? Well hopefully not as this blog is mainly about that!!

As I mentioned I have indeed been rather poorly since the day after Boxing Day but haven’t actually been on-air for the last couple of weeks. It was lovely to come back to a fabulous Laura Gellar TSV on 16th January though!! Just what I needed after stomach bugs and flu type stuff. Isn’t it great when you can transform yourself in a couple of minutes with some make-up tricks?!

Laura Geller 4 Piece Luminous Transformation Collection

Well I’m looking at a slightly longer term transformation. Ok I know yawn yawn boring!!! Yes indeed folks, it’s probably THE most common New Year’s resolution out there…  I am of course talking about the whole “losing weight and exercise” regime. Now you may well be asking “but didn’t she say this last year?”, and you’d be right!! So what’s changed this year? Not a lot really apart from a few extra pounds on the scales, nothing major. But I really do want to get healthy(ier)!! And I’m kind of at that point now where I just want to go for it.

I’m not a yoyo dieter per se, I’m more a kind of steady increase over several years till I get fed up and sort myself out dieter!!!  And so here we are. I find myself at the crossroads with the arrows pointing to either “carry on as normal” or “bite the bullet and make the change”.

The Body Rescue Plan Paperback by Christianne WolffSo I have indeed decided to bite the bullet!! But this time I don’t want to just exercise like crazy and not eat much (done that one before), I want to eat healthier as well as step up the exercise. Currently I do in fact eat fairly healthy although there’s not a lot happening on the exercise front. And so after the inspirational results of my dressing room buddy Catherine, I have in fact enlisted the help of Christianne Wolff and her “Body Rescue” system.

I am being more vocal about this resolution this year as I find it helps me with my commitment levels and staying power should the going get tough. My main downfall is sugar and not enough exercise so hopefully following this programme will sort out both areas.

So please do follow me on my journey and hopefully you’ll be witnessing less of me appearing on your screens!!! I’m only on day 3 of her 12 week program, so quite a way to go, but I’m confident!! Do watch out for the periodic updates here on my blog too!!

Christianne will be on QVC at the end of this month with the lovely Catherine. Not only will she be showing us the method that has delivered incredible results, but she’ll be bringing us a new recipe book too, making the process all the more delicious!!

So a Happy New Year to all of you and I really do wish you (albeit rather late) a healthy, joyful and peaceful 2016!!

Lots of love,

Anne x

Hi Jackie, I’m afraid I bought these glasses in the south of France nearly 4years ago in a sale so I don’t know how helpful this is. They’re an Italian brand “vanni”. Thanks for your well wishes, yes lovely to be back and fully recovered!! Xx

No Anne, it’s not to late to say Happy New Year 2016. I wish you and all your family the very best in the year. I to was unwell. From early December I had a slight cough which turned into a chest infection, which I have just overcome. I feels really good to be up and about again. The really good thing out of all this I did not have much of an appetite over the festive period and end up loosing 6lbs. YIPEEEEEEEEEEE.

Hi maddy, lovely to hear from you. Glad you’re feeling better now. Gosh it’s so rare to be saying you lost weight over Christmas isn’t it? Well done on the 6lbs though!! Great result x
