Fresh faced!

Never have I felt so fresh, healthy and motivated in my entire life as right now!

It’s all about dry January, I’m sticking to my mission and I’m going to see out the month of January without any booze. In conjunction with alcohol abstinence, I’ve ramped up my exercise regime too and also increased my daily steps by using the Fitbit. Not that I was a big drinker, but it’s quite amazing really what such a simple lifestyle step can do for us, I’ve even been waking up before 7am every day – without an alarm clock!

The final plus side is that it’s easier on the pocket and you can save a few extra pennies to spend on something you really like as a treat… I’m going to get myself a hammock.

I find that my Fitbit has been a really great motivator, I’ve been pushing myself to beat my targets and managed 24,000 steps one day! Tracking my sleep means I’ve been able to work with my own natural circadian rhythm and sleep cycles too, I mean we’re looking at major lifestyle changes that are making a difference.

Now, that said and having waxed lyrical about not drinking etc. I can’t promise to do it forever, this is probably a January-only experiment. After that I’ll certainly keep up the gym, the steps and prioritising sleep, whilst being more moderate than I was in December (which got a bit crazy).

This weekend sees one of our big Beauty Weekends of the year and this one is going to have offers galore! In fact every product we’ll be showcasing will have reduced P&P. One to watch out for that I’ve picked out is My Perfect Eyes Smoothing Eye Serum.

It’s a quick cosmetic and the reason this product is such a hit, is that it helps to totally mask the appearance of lines, wrinkles, bags, puffiness and dark circles instantly and the results can last up to eight hours. Take a look at some of the amazing results that can be achieved by erasing years from the appearance around the eyes (obviously these are on just one eye).

This product is revolutionary, it creates a delicate veil over the skin that covers over any lines, wrinkles, puffiness and darkness. These are typical results when used just around one eye.

You can also apply make-up over the top, as it’s designed to use with your favourite oil-free make-up base or foundation. Simply use it on clean, dry skin before applying make-up or starting your usual skincare routine (expect to feel a tightening sensation as it dries). Just remember to always patch test products that go around the eye first. Tune in over Beauty Weekend to find out more or give it a try with our 30 days money back guarantee.

Those clever Oxford University scientist sisters have done it again! The brains behind LAB are also launching their latest anti-aging device this Sunday for Beauty Weekend. The LAB Mini Pro Facial Lifting Device has amazing technology, packed into one handy palm-sized device.

This powerful little machine can be used with all of your serums to improve their performance. For a tiny device it emits powerful micro-currents to help tone and lift the skin, use morning and night for best results and tune in at 9am on Sunday morning to see more.

And here’s a couple of pics of Ted just because…

Until next time, stay as healthy and happy as possible xx

Lovely photos Chloe, adorable creatures; we get such a lot of pleasure from our pets, and our lives, I think, are somewhat better for having little/large creatures around. Look after Ted and love him to bits, which I am sure you do.
