Exciting weekend ahead

Hi there hope you are well. At last it seems like the lighter days are getting closer and some mild weather which was just a relief after all that bitter cold!

I have had a great couple of weeks:

Went to see friend and colleague Gabi Bradshaw in her panto – all for charity and great fun as I went with my beloved Debbie Flint. We also saw guest presenter Rebecca Perfect there too, such fun.

I also got to wish both my nieces a happy birthday. Jasmine was 14 at the end of January and Ruby just turned 4 in February. I always make them personalised birthday cards which I hope they will keep for years to come.

And of course it was Valentine’s day! Did you get any cards or pressies? I (rather surprisingly!) got a card, chocolate bunny, chocolate cakes and a red rose, wasn’t I a lucky boy?

I will be around at QVC now most days for the next week or so. Today, as well as The Morning Show and Diamonique, I have a full hour of Margaret Dabbs and as far as I am concerned it’s perfect timing!

Is it just me or do you find you rather neglect your feet during winter? Margaret will be at hand to help us get our feet spring ready. This pic shows my feet before and after a pedicure at Margaret’s West London clinic but to be honest I have found using her products at home get the most incredible results.

My favourites are her foot powder, perfect for morning use, and her foot hygiene cream that I love using at night and seeing how different my feet look in the morning!

And also this weekend Richard Jackson has his first Flower Power Today’s Special Value of the year. It’s rather special as we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Flower Power and it’s a HUGE 2.4kg size, enough to keep your stock up through all of spring and summer!

Thanks so much for reading my blog and look forward to seeing you over the next few days at QVC.

Big hugs as always,
Craig xx

Hi Craig! What a lovely blog. You’re so cheery it’s lovely to see. I’m still so impressed with your sugar free January! Can you share any tips? We’d all be interested! I’d find it hard.
As to your rose!! Spill the beans! No im joking. But I’m so pleased for you. Enjoy x

      Hey Susan,

Thanks for your lovely comment! I do try and stay cheery, despite the slightly miserable weather! Lol. My main tip for going sugar free is to try and get through the first few days and then it does get easier. Once the craving goes, it’s so much easier.

      How was your Valentines Day?

Hope to hear from you again on my next blog.

    Hi Craig,

    Your niece look absolutely adorable!

This is my first comment on anybody’s blog so I hope this gets to you. I am in the process of trying out the last Magnifex TSV topper (3 in 1) and although I love the support it gives me (stiff back syndrome in the mornings), I an not entirely sure about the wool side. This feels very prickly to me and quite a bit of the wool comes through the bed sheets making it feel as though I am sleeping on tiny bristles! I see from your previous blog that you have also got the same topper, as non of the customer reviews have indicated any similar problems, I am just wondering if this is normal for merino wool?

Hi Susan, thanks for much for posting and I feel rather honoured I am your first blog to comment on 🙂 I must admit as I am warm sleeper I tend to sleep on the cool side although when it was very cold I did sleep on the wool side with my flannel bedding and it felt soft and really cosy. It might be worth you calling customer services as it is meant to be comfy and help you get better sleep. Give them a try first on 0800 514131 and let me know how you get on. Hugs, Craig x
