Food for thought there, Alison: especially for those who, like me, are angels in the morning and commit crimes against skincare at night when they are tired. I like the tip about getting cleansing done earlier in the evening. That should help me. I also find products like Elemis pro collagen cleanser and Decleor aromessence balms are a good choice for me as they feel and smell so good, I actually want to use them, no matter how tired I feel. Quick question – I have two 400ml bottles of Prolagene gel and can’t imagine using one of them up, let alone two. Any tips on how to incorporate the gel into an evening routine?

I find my skin has a burning feeling in the night and the next morning if I have had too much sun – I usually wear Ultra sun anti pigmentation face protection. What are the best products to put on in the night to sooth the skin – I am a big Decleor fan and have been known to put prolegene gel on at 3 in the morning if my skin feels burnt.

Hi Alison, need your advice on breakouts recently happened on my chin, small red sometimes itchy dry blotches, using Liz Earle cleanse & polish/toner Gatineau melatogenine eye, decleor neroli serum and Elemis marine cream moisturiser, all a little mixed up at the moment due to accumulation of sets, normal to dry skin never any probs before age 59, hope you can help.
