Dogs, dust, dirt, and Dysons!

Ellie in tea towelHope all’s well,

Thanks as always for your great comments and taking the time to leave them.

Little Ellie has now had her second inoculation and can soon meet lots of new canine friends – in around a weeks time – not that she doesn’t love Toby’s company, but it’s good for her to socialise with other dogs as well.

She’s into everything (whilst she’s awake), as you would expect from an 11 week old pup, including wrestling tea towels. Fortunately, between the manic moments, she needs plenty of sleep ! It’s always a joy to see what’s been brought back into the house; an old slipper, a branch, pine cones etc. Plus, of course a thousand pine needles that the trees in our garden are shedding like rainfall at the moment!

Toby and EllieSo a very welcome product sample came in very useful this week – courtesy of Great British Brand Dyson and their brilliant model the DC50 Multifloor Upright Vacuum – it’s Dyson’s lightest and most compact upright vacuum cleaner – but really packs a punch. Now I know I said something similar to this only a few weeks ago – but where my wife Tracey is concerned: “Lighter weight and greater maneuverability” are what she wants in a vacuum. Needless to say, she loves the DC50 – and it’s fast become a family favourite in our house as, yes, we’ve all used it!

We’ve all found it so easy to store and retrieve from our under stairs cupboard (one push of a button and the handle retracts down) You can easily go over hard floors, rugs, and carpets in one go with no adjustments. Although you can switch off the brush head if you wish! You can also reduce the suction by sliding over a red button that makes it easier over higher piled carpets and rugs or simply if you find the suction just too good!

As you’d expect from Dyson – it’s powerful! Boasting two tier radial cyclones technology, it hasn’t missed any visible dust and dirt on any surface we’ve tried it on and I’m sure it lifts plenty we can’t see with the naked eye as well. But as I always say, the only way to really know if it’s for you is to try it out with your dust and dirt in your own home.

Our buyers have negotiated a superb offer that makes our Today’s Special Value price amazing! Plus we will be including the “no tangle turbine ” with one fluffy and one shaggy dog – that’s going to be a really useful accessory!

Ellie and Toby

QVC will also be promoting Dyson’s National Trade-in Campaign, you may have seen this advertised on TV, which enables you to send your old vacuum to them for disposal if you wish. It doesn’t stop there though, as QVC will be offering our TSV on 3 Easy Payments! AND offering free P & P!!

So I hope you can join usย at midnight tonight (Friday) for the launch of Saturday’s Dyson TSV.

Andi Peters’ Food Fest takes a break this coming Monday – but we return on the 6th October with more mouth-watering quality foods including a wonderful offering from Green Seasons.

Until next time, take care,
Dale x

    Hi Dale,
Love the photos of Ellie and Toby, especially Ellie with the T Towel.
Yes puppies are such fun, they play and play and then sleep time to build up more energy ready for more adventures. Yes it will be nice when she can go out and about into the big wide world. I am sure Toby will protect her.
The youngest of my Labrodor’s are two brothers and they are two next month, they play for hours together, barking and one will hide in the Kennel and then jump out on the other one, even at that age they are great to watch. We do lot’s of training with them learning to work on the whistle and to retrieve.
I did like the Dyson Hoover, and it had Ellie and Toby’s approval so it must be good.
Looking forward to the next show with you and Andie Peter’s great show, great entertainment. And having Green Season’s on as well, great.
Keep us up to date with Ellie’s progress and enjoy everyday with her as they soon grow up as you know.
    Jean X

Thanks Jean. As I mentioned they really are getting closer each day – Only a couple of days before she can join Toby and I on walks – short ones to start though ! Ellie, sits, stays and gives us her paw already – I think the “Stay” command is so important for her future safety. Andi P and I hope you can join us on the 6th with Pat Butcher and his “Green Seasons” TSV ! Can’t wait ! Dale x

Wishing Toby a very happy birthday today 02nd Oct from his sister Millie and step sister Ella. So pleased that you now have sweet Ellie to keep him company and his new play mate. Ours get on so well together and get up to all sorts of mischief. Enjoy the chaos! Kind regards, Elaine

Thanks Elaine ! Lovely to hear from you – It’s a small world ! Toby and Ellie get on great too – It’s so funny to see Him doing all his tricks beside Her, whilst we train Ellie – he’ll do anything for a treat ! It was actually Millie and Toby’s breeder Elaine, who kindly put me onto Ellie’s breeder Carole – stay in touch ! Dale x

Hi Chantel/Rio, Thank you, she’s adorable but a real scamp and keeps us on our toes – very cute and very bright – a dangerous combination in a girl !! Yes don’t miss our BCC event it’s always a wonderful event on our Calendar. Dale x

Hi Dale Lovely pics of Toby and Ellie – if I knew how to work this pesky computer properly I would send you a pic of my beardie, Briagha. She is a lovely dark brown, gorgeous and has just had her 12th birthday. I have had Beardies for about 30 years and I have had various dyson’s ever since they first came out – nothing else works with long haired dogs in the house, I have tried and always been disappointed with other brands. No others allow the easy removal of hair that wraps so easily around the brushes. The no tangle head is wonderful for the stairs where my main problem is Lhasa Apso hair on the edge of the stairs – ‘cos their legs are so short they graze the edge of the stairs with their tummies as they go up and down! Thank you Barbara – you seem to be doing a fine job with your computer – We had our first Beardie Emma about 25 years ago – They are wonderful dogs, but they do need looking after don’t they – Ellie is at that wonderful fluffy stage where all the dirt just falls off her (just as well) I’m on with Dyson tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚ Dale x

Hi Dale, Toby and Ellie are so lovely! I have three Beardies,Phoebe,Poppy , and Ben. I could not survive without my Dyson FACT! I have been keeping this breed for 40 years, I could not imagine life without them. There is a lot of cleaning invol;ved, but I would rather have the companionship and devotion and fun ( fox poo episodes too) than anything else life can offer!
