Diamonds? Yes please!

Hi there, thanks for dropping by to my blog. I hope you had a good March? I will catch you up with what I’ve been up to in a minute but I must tell you about our very sparkly April. It’s Diamond Month at QVC. Very appropriate because the birthstone for April is diamond!

I’ve been lucky enough to be loaned a beautiful ring to wear this month. You will see me wearing this on air throughout the month. It’s a beautiful 1 carat Elegance Diamond Ring in white or yellow gold with two rows of beautiful diamonds in quite a modern style. It stacks nicely but also is stunning on its own. Keep an eye out for it this month, all the diamonds are on Easy Pay so now’s the time to invest in a piece like this!

So what else have I been up to? Well I was lucky enough not to be working on Mother’s Day so I got to have a lovely day which started off at my mums. We did a big family breakfast with my sister and my girls. Flowers, fry up and homemade cards followed by tea and cupcakes a little later on! It was a lovely morning and the sun was shining. We then headed home to the South Coast where we went for a Sunday lunch locally with just Fred and my two girls Matilda and Ivy. Mums got a free glass of Prosecco which is always a nice treat!

We also marked the anniversary of my father in law’s passing. We do this down at the beach with the girls by taking down some daffodils, his favourite flowers. Sadly Ivy never got to meet him, he would have loved her as she’s so cheeky. Tilda still talks of him fondly so it’s a nice way for her to remember him.

Fred met us straight from work on his bike, he’s training for the Paris Roubaix which is a cycling race in France. He’s not competing with the professionals but all the super-keen road bikers get to cycle the same course the day after.

While Fred is away for that this weekend I will be at home trying to get the garden sorted for Summer. I’ve just bought a couple of the Ivy-covered trellis’ from QVC which have twinkly lights in it to cover some rather boring walls. I will show you some before and afters in my next blog!

So until then, I hope you have a lovely start to April. Please do keep me updated on what you’re getting up to and if you like you can follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and see what else I’ve been doing. I particularly love my Instagram as I love sharing pictures of behind the scenes from QVC.

Gorgeous pictures as always Katy. Blue sky, spring sunshine – how welcome are they! Gardening such a pleasure after the long winter. Walks by the sea any time of year. Have fun xx

Hi Janet, sorry for such a slow response I’ve only just seen your lovely comment. Hope you are enjoying your garden this spring, what have you planted this season? I’ve just bought a new Azalea, I love them x
