Designer Diane Gilman on her TSV jeggings

Diane Gilman jeggings sketchHi everyone,

I'm back for Spring Fashion Weekend with a great jeggings Today's Special Value! The skinny denim jeggings are such a great fashion innovation.

They are a combination of a simple slim legging design married to our ever so stretchy denim, to create jeggings!

This is actually one of my top picks as a personal, everyday, go-to bottom!! Why? Versatility! The skinny silhouette is so easily worn, with a comfortable elastic waist that stretches 16-18 inches!!

Designer Diane GilmanThis silhouette can be worn with tailored blazers, dressy with pumps and a sparkly top, or weekend casual with an oversized sweater and scarf! It can reinvent itself for each of the four seasons depending on the tops you pair with it, and can be worn with any footwear from winter thigh-high boots to flip-flop summer sandals!

Below are some sketches from my latest collection – for a little inspiration. The stylish Navajo print jacket looks great worn over the versatile hanky hem tunic. Or you can add a little embellished style with a jewelled medallion top or the edgy studded tunic – all pictured below.

My favourite easy and flattering look is always some form of a tunic – free-flowing and relaxed with a slim bottom. The 'skinny silhouette' continues to be the number one fashion statement bottom from couture to high street, and shows no sign of fading.

Spring to me is about classics… like jeans and collecting basics like great lightweight sweaters and T-shirts, these jeggings will last season after season. You can refresh them with new shoes – ballet flats for spring… a new handbag – maybe in a bright colour?? And a new scarf – try a neon-like lime green or coral to enliven a neutral look!

But just know… no wardrobe is complete without that perfect piece of denim from DG2!!

Fantastic to see you back Diane, and what a fab TSV you’ve brought. I waited up to 12 midnight to order the black and indigo because I just love your jeggings/jeans. Last TSV I ended up buying all three colours and wear them all the time, but with the colder weather here at the moment, I am wearing my black jeggings and brown jeggings with a zip. Can’t wait for them to arrive, and to see you when you return to QVC, hopefully with more skinny jeans/jeggings in more brighter colours.
Have a safe journey home and take care
    Best wishes

    Hi Diane,
Just thought i would tell you how much i love your jeans.I have to order size 8 as the measurements are so generous, i usually wear size 10 in jeans but yours have ample room to go down 1 size. The jeans are such a great fit perfect for us ladies over 50, (but only just). Keep up the good work.
    Love Kathy x
