A deliciously happy Easter to you all!

Hey everyone,

Hope you’re all good and looking forward to indulging in a whole load of chocolate over the weekend as well as, of course, enjoying a fair slice of some ‘cracking’ Easter shows with us here on QVC (pun very much intended!).

Chocolate aside, I have a show with The Real Pie Company at 6pm on Good Friday, which will be hard to resist. They have an assorted steak pie collection, which is a firm favourite with Danny and the boys. Talking of assorted selections, I’ve been a tad tardy in placing my Monty Bojangles Assorted Truffle order for Easter (pictured above)! I have the hordes congregating chez moi this weekend. Still, it may arrive on time, otherwise I may have to scoff all those choccies myself!

Seriously, have you tried them? I got them last year as a little pressie for one of the boys. I’ll be totally honest, I didn’t think they looked all that, and then I tried one, oh my goodness, words fail me (and it’s not very often that happens! Lol!) Sheer heaven!

I managed to find some Monty Bojangles Easter eggs too! (See photo! I’m actually struggling not to sample them! Maybe I could, and then just replace them? Shh! I never said that!)

Some of you may be familiar with the Dawson tradition of the ‘Secret Bunny’, Danny dons the Easter Bunny ears, we each pop an egg into a huge sack and everyone gets a blind selection! It’s meant to be no cheating, but there are some members of this family who have an uncanny knack of selecting their own!

It’s a whole lot better than years ago, when we all bought each other eggs and there were about 150 of them kicking around the house (I am serious by the way!).

So, yes, as Easter approaches, I do get all excited. I love getting the house ready with lots of yellow and green, spring-like colours everywhere and in everything; from tablecloths and napkins to even some little table crackers with Easter jokes and toys inside!

Little Sophie and Joshua will no doubt be helped in the garden during the Easter egg hunt – don’t worry, big children are banned, they’ve been there before!

Yes indeed, so cooking lunch for 14!

But I love it!

I trust the Easter Bunny will be good to you all! Hoping you all have an absolutely lovely Easter, one of my favourite times of the year!

Catch up soon,
Anne xxx
