Craig saves the day!

Hi everyone!

Hope you’re all well and dandy!

If you’re wondering in what way exactly did the lovely Craig save the day…?

Well, I was a tad under the weather last week and so my knight in shining armor arrived on Friday to take over the reins when I couldn’t make it in that day (or should that be a presenter in a smart car arriving on Friday to take over the reins).

Anyway, all good now and it was lovely to catch up with him when I was in yesterday.

I suggested getting a few pics together to stick on my blog and he actually said “are you going to call it ‘Craig saves the day’?” That made me chuckle! Some crazy photos as you can see of us in make-up with the lovely make-up artist, Roo! She is a genius, as you can probably gather judging by my before and after shots!

It’s been a busy weekend here at QVC what with the phenomenal Gatineau Today’s Special Value supersize trio offer.

That just went crazy! I have to say though that I (and just a few other million people) simply adore their Tan Accelerator. Personally I love to use it alongside the Decleor Gradual Glow! Speaking of which, Decleor have a fabulous offer coming up on Sunday, and on Saturday it’s all about Tignanello!

I can’t wait for that. I bought a cross-body bag from the range some time ago and I just love it! So deceptively handy when you don’t want to cart a large bag around, but I can still get my Kindle, glasses, make-up and ton of other stuff in there too! Check out the reviews online as clearly I’m not alone on this one!

I was just trying to remember what my first purchase from QVC was… the memory is fading somewhat, but it was either an opal ring, some Diamonique, or a talking Barney toy that I got for Jon when he was only 3 years old! Drove us all round the bend! I think he was secretly quite scared of it! (The Barney toy that is, not my opal ring or the Diamonique! Lol!)

Do you remember what your first QVC purchase was?

I’d love to hear from you.

Take care and catch up soon,

Anne xx

My first purchase was made six years ago. My mum had been rushed into hospital and I flew home within 24 hours as she was very frail, 86 years old and in high dependency. I had many sleepless nights and sat up in her bed – I live in Greece – at home and watched all sorts of tv programs. Then I stumbled on QVC in the early hours ( after an Eddie Stobard documentary ! Yes I really couldn’t sleep!) and a TSV. It was Judith Williams day and night cream. I couldn’t afford anything very expensive so later in the day phoned QVC, set up an account and made my first purchase. I enjoyed my purchase and it was the first of many!

Hi Anne, glad to hear you’re feeling better. I think my first QVC purchase was a stretch ring from Lee Sands – miss ranges like that.

my first purchase from QVC in November 1993, was a 7″ Amethyst braclet in 9ct. gold, which I still have. Its a bit smug now but am keeping it for when my granddaughter reaches the age of 18 (she is 10 now). I think she too will like it, especially as I am able to tell her the story behind it. She knows I love QVC.
