Well what a busy January this has been and now we are in February 2019! Before we know it, it will be Ultrasun time again!
This last two weeks have been filled with lots of busy shows and new fashion and exciting collections coming to QVC. So as you can imagine I have been in my element. In fact I even took to the catwalk again to show you this great diamond quilted jacket from Centigrade take a look at how it looks in action. I’m wearing the yellow. Be quick if you love it as I’m not sure we’ll have all the colours left for long.

I recently worked with Charlotte Broadbent, one of our newer fashion guests here at QVC. She is the former fashion editor of Hello magazine and teaches fashion at the London School of Fashion. She has been educating us all about colours and which ones to go for to enhance our skin and hair tone. How to pick colours such as yellow that exude a sense of happiness or orange for a sense of fun. Apparently purple is associated with royalty and sophistication! I find these insights really interesting and Charlotte has offered to read my colours… I’ll keep you posted on my results.
The photo below is of myself and lovely Charlotte backstage. I found the other image from a recent show with another fantastic fashion guest of ours Ashling McCoy. You may have watched Ashling’s accessories shows before. She too is brilliant and is a very experienced guest.
I mentioned at the top about new collections. Have you see our new brand Jolie Moi? This range is all about pretty vintage-inspired dresses. I decided to go for a more urban look in this photo. I have my Jolie Moi on (this is a very similar dress just a different print) with one of my favourite MarlaWynne cropped jumper tops and I’m wearing my own trainers. Ignore the birds nest on top of my head I was heading to the hair dressers straight after this shot! Most of my fashion ideas I put on my Instagram @eilidhnairntv
Before we move into one of my favourite new dinners which is a whole other subject we must address accessorising. I think the finishing touches on an outfit are – in no particular order – bags, shoes, nails and hats. You’re in luck because two of these are coming up in this week’s Style Big Deals. Let’s start with this classy and casual fine milled leather bag from Tignanello. It has plenty of room to carry all you need for the day and has lots of compartments to help keep you organised. It comes in black, Creme Brûlée (cream) Passionfruit (pink) and Tan which tends to exude the look of expensive items… so it’s said.
The next up is the Tokyo Blossom Collection from OPI. You get six nail polishes a Nail Envy, and a fabulous bag to store them in. The range is fun and fresh. Expect to see shades of pearl with silver glitter which has been designed just for QVC plus more colours, electric pink, emerald green, periwinkle blue.
Have fun and treat yourself – from Monday at midnight go here to see all this coming week’s Big Deals.
Now for a total change of subject. In my last blog I mentioned a healthier regime so here is one of my new favourite dishes. Courgette with lemon zest and sea salt, peas, feta and fresh baby tomatoes sprinkled with pine nuts. It’s quick, easy and so very tasty.
When you receive this blog it will actually be my birthday on Feb 4th and Elliot and I are taking a few days away in the New Forest then to the Isle of Wight. I’ll post pics on my next blog. Have a great week and see you on the box.
