Claire’s Christmas Wish List

Oh my goodness and a golly this year has flown at tumultuous speed and here we are three weeks to go before Christmas is upon us. Christmas is a time of madness, expectations, stress and pressure for some, a time of sadness and contemplation for others and a time of joy, magic and wonderment for many. If I’m honest it’s a little bit of all of the above mixed in together but the advantages of our fabulous QVC means I can enjoy more of the magic, more of the  joy and more of that magical feeling that should surround Christmas!

Maddie has commandeered my Absolutely Famous Christmas jumpers already. Although to be fair it is a child’s one… I’ve been rocking the rather petite look on air! Though the pug one rather took her fancy and she happily continued practising for her ballet exam on her “barre” ( my oven door!)

Now when it comes to the present buying it’s all down to little old me!!! And I can’t share what I’ve been buying here too much as I know sneaky peeps will be a looking, however Dan does always ask me for a wish list… quickly followed by the words ” not that you need anything”…! As if!!

So, as I already have my Christmas present firmly on my finger… my engagement ring that sadly lost a diamond during our holiday in Croatia, brilliantly found again by Joe… but when we went to have the stone reset let’s just say it was decided to upgrade!!! A new larger diamond was bought and set which fitted the space more perfectly and  that is my Christmas present. However I still have been asked by him for ideas… well a girl doesn’t need asking twice!!!

So, Daniel if you’re reading…

Roberto by RFM bracelet

I love this bracelet  from Roberto by RFM. It looks sumptuous and juicy and will look fabulous alongside my other jewellery, bonus is it’s a great price!!!

The one make up thing I adore, always have and always will is summed up so perfectly by the Lulu Guinness Grace glitter pouch… This is beyond perfect and makes me happy just looking at it!!! Black and gold is my favourite colour choice… I looove a bit of gold!

Boots boots and more boots, even though Dan keeps trying to insist on a one-in-one-out policy… it just doesn’t sit well with me and these from Rieker look just perfect to add to my collection! Super cool, fabulous fold down knitted bit. Size 5 please Dan! In the tan colour.

Julien Macdonald earrings

And yes to Julien Macdonald catwalk collection earrings in the green crystal colour way, perfect with my green hat I love. Or the Aurora long briolette drops in the gold tone are also beautiful. Frank Usher’s faux fur headband in the navy will make me feel uber glam.

On Alison Young’s recommendation, these Tan Luxe drops help one can retain a summer kissed glow without any compromise. Just a drop or two in any serum or moisturiser and bob’s your uncle, summer is back!

Oh and I’m having so many compliments when I wear Liz Earle 100.I’d like a top up. Compliments are soooooo good for the soul !

I think I had better stop as I must remember the ring AND a huge silver floor-standing mirror have already been given to me.

Lucky ? Me? Absolutely, and don’t I know it!

There has been much to be so thankful for this year, many fabulous and fulfilled hours with wonderful guests and of course you… where would we all be without you, taking us all into your homes and hearts and appreciating us. And I for sure appreciate you and pray you have a wonderful time with family and friends and enjoy the peace that Christmas can bring… or not in my case but I love it and wouldn’t have it any other way!

Here’s to the inevitable chaos… long may it continue!

All my love

How lovely Claire to read your latest blog, you sound so full of hap piness and it gave me a nice feeling this horrible dark windy morning.!! I am in my sitting room surrounded by piles of furniture and no heating. My husband in his infinite wisdom decided to have all our ceilings re plastered ! At this time of year!!! Hopefully we will be ok by Christmas Day. Though we should not moan as we are so lucky compared to those suffering flood damage. We will have our grandchildren with us on Boxing Day, 4grandsons aged 14, 10, 4, and 2, also our new little granddaughter Emily one month old! So l am sure we will have lots of fun and laughter.l have MS and am now having to use my l pad to order all my gifts. Not that I am complaining, it’s rather fun to switch on my tv and watch QVC and listen to you Claire and all he lovely presenters. Blessings to you all for a happy and peaceful Christmas Claire, don’t forget to give yourself a little ‘me time’ to help you cope!! X
