Christmas sparkle in July

Hello from me and the bump! We are doing very well and have been having a very exciting few weeks! There really is so much to cover, from us performing in a theatre play to QVC’s Christmas in July, and how nesting has fully set in, in preparation for our newest family member.

On the theme of families – a HUGE thank you to my QVC family for coming along and supporting me in my latest theatre project, called “Escapology”. You may have read some of my other blogs and seen me mention that my two good friends Kristin, Stuart and I had written a play and were to perform it in London at a great off West End venue called The Old Red Lion.

Many people didn’t believe that the bump was real, which was funny. In actual fact I think the bump loved it, especially all those happy hormones from mum as I absolutely love doing stage plays. Elliot came to see the play three times and was there at the end with a cold drink and a big hug. We also got our mums, my brother, Errol and Joel together on various nights – so it really has been a wonderful reuniting of family who live further afield.

I am sure you’ll also recognise these beautiful, kind people. It was such a wonderful surprise to come out from the theatre and be met with smiles and bouquets of flowers.

I mentioned my mum coming to visit, which was lovely. We went shopping for the baby and bought lots of tiny clothes and baby things, they are sooo cute! We also did some home renovations and rejuvenated an old dresser (that I never really loved) but now looks fresh, modern and pretty cool, I reckon!

I notice I am going into full nesting mode at home now in preparation for our wee arrival in just seven weeks!! This week we have transformed the spare room into an adorable little nursery. I love organising all the new tiny items and I’ve found that this three-piece storage set from The Camouflage Company is just the ticket. There is a square zipped chest with a window so instantly easy to see what is inside. One for keeping larger items like jumpers, or maybe towels, and an under the bed one that could be used for those things we never want to throw away but never use… hmm? I have rather a lot of those things… But for now it’s all going in the nursery and will be filled with lovely new baby things. I’ve got the Blue Blossom but it does also come in Nordic Red, Botanical and Indie Chic. I think the price is super too, as our Today’s Special Value coming up on Thursday 25th July it will be £29.98 + P&P but if you were to buy them individually from QVC it would cost £54.50 + P&P. Be sure to have a look online on Thursday!

This set is actually one of the many fantastic offers that we have as part of our Christmas in July at QVC. I know it seems like a long way off, but to help us get in the spirit I put together a silly pic for you from our home. We found these hilarious baby grows and had to get them.

I don’t know about you but vacuuming isn’t my favourite household chore. This is partly due to not having the most effective vacuum. So. I was delighted to get to try the Gtech Power Floor K9 cordless cleaner. It not only has 10 different cleaning modes, its super lightweight and you can use the hand-held function for smaller jobs, and that’s just a few of the many functions it has. So if you’re like me and could do with cleaning up your vacuuming act, then give it a go and save yourself £70 when you get it as part of Saturday 20th July TSV price of £169.96 plus P&P. The normal price is £249.99. Here is the link! Get it back home and use your 30 day money back guarantee to give it a proper road test.

Have some fun this July with us and Christmas in July at QVC. Don’t forget your Big Deals this week too, which can be found quickly by clicking this link.

I am going to finish with one last photo of myself, the bump and Uncle Brodie (my big brother.)

Take care and have a Happy Christmas (in July),

Hi Eilidh and bump glad you enjoyed your stage play and how lovely to see so many familiar faces there to support you. What adorable baby grows you found – so cute! Yes you are right you cant beat a cordless cleaner – it makes vacuuming soOOOO much easier. What a lovely pic of you and your big brother. I enjoyed the Elemis show with you and Keeley – you are looking fantastic in the final stages of your pregnancy, so well and blooming xx

I bet you are so incredibly excited. My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy last Thursday, he is so adorable, she was in labour for 50 minutes. Good luck with your upcoming birth sweetie, hope all goes well for you 💜

Hi Eilidh, great column this week, you look so happy and smiley.
What did make me smile is on the photo of the QVC Rogues Gallery, it is the photo bomber, and I have to agree with his big thumbs up.
