Chic Ronni Nicole style!

Firstly, I hope you all had a great Easter.

I managed to grab a few days away with the family in the Cotswolds which made for a really lovely break. We stayed in a lovely lodge just outside of Chipping Norton, which was gorgeous. Bailey our dog came too as well as a boot-full of board games, Scattergories being one of my all time favourites plus Articulate, Monopoly and Cluedo and we really had a relaxing time.

The lodge had its own hot tub which was fabulous and topped off with a cappuccino what more could I ask? The hot tub had beautiful views over looking the woods and fields in the daytime but in the evening with a glass of wine in hand it was even better.

Bailey had a great time too. I understand why so many places don’t allow dogs but we found the Cotswolds really dog-friendly, which was brilliant for us as she is so well behaved. We even took Bailey for afternoon tea!

Once home I wanted to tackle a few household chores now the weather has got a little better. I started on the garage, which I must admit is in a worse state than when I started and then I decided that a wardrobe clear out was on the cards.

I sometimes think we cling on to clothes for far too long particularly as we get a little bit older and our body gets a little fleshier, we need our clothes to really work for us. Plus there is so much incredible fashion coming through QVC this season it really does spur you on to have a clear out and boost your confidence with a few new pieces.

One of the ranges that can can give you an instant confidence boost is Ronni Nicole.

Fashion designer Quida Oliver is the lovely lady who brings this clever range to QVC UK from America where it is sold in very premium, high-end stores like Macy’s.

Quida, who incidentally is one of the nicest ladies you would ever wish to meet, has been creating designs for the Ronni Nicole range for over 15 years and each and every design is specifically constructed to flatter a woman’s body. The secret is the ‘O So Slim’ technology that is built into the dresses. The dresses are beautifully cut anyway, but the engineering of ‘O So Slim’ just helps to smooth everything out and gives you a fabulous silhouette.

The designs are gorgeous with amazing fabrics and because ‘O So Slim’ doesn’t cinch you in like some uncomfortable elasticated undergarments, the result is a dress that is flattering, comfortable and slimming – which is such a confidence boost; especially after all those yummy Easter eggs!

Now a little bird tells me that there’s a Ronni Nicole Today’s Special Value running all day On Monday 24th April, and I’ve heard the design is a cold shoulder dress. Now, anyone who knows me will know I love the cold shoulder look that’s so fashionable at the moment, I think I own every cold shoulder top that QVC has, so I can’t wait to try it! A cold shoulder design that has to be every girl’s fashion dream.

Take care,

Jilly x

Hi Jilly. My husband comes from Chiping Norton and my inlaws still live in the local villages. Away from the teashop areas of North Cotswolds, you should visit the 5 valleys of Stroud (my roots) especially Slad, where my dad was born and raised, (Laurie Lee country) or any of the surrounding area for coutryside beauty and stunning views from Minchinhampton across to Chalford. They still let cows roam free on the common.

Bailey is absolutely adorable! Traditional family holidays with board games are simply the best. Hot tub, well that’s just amazing. Jilly, I’m as bad as you, Cold Shoulder tops are my favourite trend of the year. I can’t wait until the TSV launch.
