Founded in 2005 by teddy bear enthusiasts William and Charlotte Morris, Charlie Bears features beautiful collectables lovingly handmade artists from around the world. Now stocked in over 30 countries, Charlie Bears are back on QVC with an exciting new Today’s Special Value offer!
After 12 months away from being a guest presenter on QVC due to health reasons, Charlotte Morris takes her rightful place next to her husband William this Friday with a fantastic new TSV. We caught up with William to find out more.
“Charlie has returned with a bang, with three of the most exciting and ambitious characters ever created by Charlie Bears. Following the success of characters such as Gum Boots the fox and Nippy Noo the Artic Hare, we decided to do a mini series of Forest Friends to add companions to our ever growing hug of bears and pandas.
After a plea to collectors, we created the next set – Splish Splash the Otter and Colonel McNutty the Squirrel, again incredibly popular. Now, the final set in the series that has presented some of the character that were the most requested by our collectors – Brigadier Four Paws the baby deer, Flying Officer Hootie the owl and the biggest character of them all, Quill-I-Am the baby hedgehog.”
Creating this series has been the most challenging project for Charlie Bears to date, with a lot of time spent on making sure that the characters represent their real-life selves but still maintaining the Charlie Bears magic of a forever friend. We also wanted to ensure that we stuck to our original ideas of affordable collectables – but with so much attention to detail. This is a real treat for all our current collectors and new fans of Charlie Bears.”
Limited to only 2,000 of each piece, QVC is launching this wonderful new set of Forest Friends. Whether you choose to collect all three or if there’s just one that takes your fancy, these cuddly characters will add charm to your collection or make wonderful gifts.
Join us on Friday as we take a look at all three Forest Friends from Charlie Bears!
