Challenges, IGTV and the great outdoors

5

You know, I never see myself as an outdoors kind of person, however, it’s my happiest place – weird huh? I’m a USELESS gardener and am never the one to volunteer a five mile walk, however, I DO love being out with my horse and I’m a huge camping fan – so I guess I must fit in there somewhere.

So, this month I have started doing videos most days on Instagram (IGTV) and following various requests I still have all kinds to do – things like how I do my eye make-up, wardrobe and shopping tips, how to paint nails etc., but also lots of other aspects of life, one of which was the request for gardening tips. I nearly fell off my chair at that one, however I embraced the challenge and did one from my garden after finally taking the plunge and buying the Root Slayer – all I can say is OMG, it’s my new best friend, both the big one and the smaller trowel sized ones! I think the green bin lorry guys were quite surprised this morning when they collected our green bin with a tree hanging out of it! (by the way in the pic I’m wearing Women with Control pedal pushers… I live in them!)

Having done a load of videos on IGTV that started off as a seven day challenge at the beginning of July, I’ve now decided to start throwing some challenges back at everyone else so if you want to join in, make sure you follow me on Instagram.

Back to the great outdoors though, and let me give you an update on Beth – oh yes, that’s another video coming soon as there are lots of you who want to share in a horsey fix (I totally understand!) She is nearly 100% fit now, we are out and about regularly and she’s just the happiest she’s ever been – as am I when I’m on her back! We have come such a long way together over the last few years, it’s been an immense journey of ups and downs and I’m thoroughly enjoying her this summer. I am constantly so thankful that I am able to have her in my life while living in such a glorious environment! We are just on the edge of the Cotswolds and as you can see, the views are magnificent… By the way, can you see Beth’s tongue poking out? She’s so funny, that’s her happy face!

Finally, SO many of you asked about the colour on my nails this weekend when I was on QVC – it was Poolside Paradise from the Nails Inc Saved By The Beach Today’s Special Value that is available NOW – I’ve ordered one to have at home, the colours are just beautiful and perfect colours for the summer. Speaking of which, it looks like the weather is going to be great for the rest of July, and our new tent has just been delivered this morning so I’m off outside to set it up – I CAN’T WAIT!

As always, loads of love all round!

Take care

Pipa x

I totally see you as an outdoor person! You love horses, camping and you forgot festivals! In the photo with the tree you totally look like your 2 gorgeous kids! I love your zest for life. Could you do one on that?! X

Pipa. You looked absolutely stunning on the Sketchers show on Wednesday – a navy blue culottes jumpsuit with cape back. Is it a QVC item. I WANT IT!! Could you very kindly let me know. Many thanks.

Hi Wendy, it was actually a Coco Bianco top from last year with the culottes that were in that show. Unfortunately we don’t do the top in that colour any more which is a real shame as it matched the bottoms perfectly which created the look of a jumpsuit – sorry xx
