Celebs, ‘Top 3 Beauty’ and a NEW SHOW!

Hi there, hope you are well and enjoying the start of this lovely spring! I have had a great week at QVC having interviewed both Lulu and Calum Best in the space of the week! How lucky am I?!

Did you catch my Yankee Candle shows last week? It’s always such fun working with Rosa and Steven. If you ordered the Grand Bazaar Today’s Special Value at the start of the year you should have received your April drop by now, ‘Pure Essence” – aren’t the fragrances beautiful? I love Aloe Water in my bathroom and Cassis is great in my bedroom as the colour of it matches my curtains. Keep an eye out for these fragrances coming in other collections soon.

Another thing to watch out for is the Dyson “Fluffy” TSV this weekend – it’s brilliant! I have mainly hard floors in my flat and even though the other Dyson have been good, I did find that sometimes fine dust or crumbs gets blown around a bit whereas with “Fluffy” nothing is left behind, even after just one pass! I am not hosting any Dyson shows but I did manage to convince my boss to let me try one for a few days, and will now be ordering one on the day, having been lucky enough to road-test it!

Big news!! A BRAND new show starts on Monday (27th April) and it’s completely different from any other show on QVC! Chloe and I will be hosting the first show so please do join us for a great, fun, relaxed lunch with friends. Here are some pics from the rehearsal yesterday.

And finally you know how much of a skincare addict I am, right? Over the next few blogs I am going to give you my ‘top 3’ of the week. These are products I am using and loving and I would love you to do the same. This week my top 3 is:

  1. Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil (205380) – I love this range and this cleanser is so gentle but effective; I have even forgot to apply moisturiser on a couple of occasions because my skin felt so conditioned!
  2. Flora Mare Pore Minimiser (207059) – I have been using this since my last show with Axel and have seen a difference in the size and appearance of my pores, so my skin is looking smoother and more refined.
  3. L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil (229906) – this is one of my all-time favourites and I am using it even more at the moment after my skin getting so dry over winter. It smells amazing, it has a silky texture and my body looks so healthy after using it!

Wow what a couple of weeks you have had!! Such an exciting things going on.

I particularly enjoyed your interview with Calum Best (thank you for posting the link on twitter), my family have a history of alcohol dependency so it was nice to hear Calum’s words. I think it is easy to focus on the alcoholic and their recovery while the repercussions of their actions can have a knock on effect on family member’s, especially the children, years later. I was also interested to hear about the charity that he works with. I thought you handled the whole subject with great sensitivity.

Love to you and your beautiful family.
