As I mentioned on last week’s blog, I was lucky enough to be invited to the press launch of some new Liz Earle products on Wednesday afternoon. Along with the new fragrance, which launches on QVC in August, there are some additions to the Superskin range – two body treatment oils and something for night time.
The location was a penthouse in central London and quite frankly I would happily move in tomorrow. How about that for a bath tub?! Caroline and the Liz Earle team were really welcoming and we had a lovely afternoon throwing around some ideas for upcoming shows.
Sadly I will be missing the shows tomorrow as it is my weekend off but I hope you will tune in for the TSV which launches at midnight tonight. It’s all full sizes apart from the Cleanse and Polish which is double the normal size and it is face, body and hair. As I mentioned on my recent blog where I divulged the products I currently use, I am predominantly an Aveda girl when it comes to hair care however I do swap it out for Liz’s shampoo and conditioner (I use normal) and my hair really appreciates the change.
So while you are watching Caroline on QVC, I will be at Waterstones in Windsor for my book signing, unless of course you are in the area and fancy dropping in to say hello. The latest book has now had 30 reviews and I would just like to thank you if you have taken the time to write one. Feedback is really important for helping me improve as a writer but also reviews can help other people consider trying something new, just as your reviews on the QVC website do – they are genuinely much appreciated. As always go to my website www.juliarobertsbooks.co.uk for everything bookish.
I will also be missing the Together 5th Anniversary shows which start this Sunday so I thought I would feature the brand as part of my Focus on Fashion today. I have quite a few tops from this range including the Button Through Tunic with Lace Back Detail which I have in both antique pink and navy – I’m actually considering getting it in the sage too as I like it that much!
As you would expect there are lots of new designs for the anniversary and also watch out for plenty of styles on free P&P. I’ve selected three such pieces that I think you might like. The Crochet Detail Cardigan and Crochet Detail Vest are matching and come in a choice of soft peach or denim. There is also a striking Printed Crinkle Vest, that I have my eye on. The print is off a white background and is coral, pale blue and aqua. It would look great with white crop trousers, white linens, a white skirt or white jeans.
Talking of jeans, my other steer this week is the Women With Control TSV launching next Thursday at midnight. Renee will be over from America for this visit and I’m delighted I have a show with her. The TSV has the tummy control panel and comes in a choice of two lengths and is also in four colours: – black/indigo, indigo, washed denim and chambray. If you haven’t worn jeans in a while try the cut of these – comfort and support all in one.
I hope you enjoyed Fashion Day yesterday? I was showing a journalist around QVC on Monday and she remarked how much she liked the H by Halston TSV jacket hanging on my wardrobe door. Sadly I never got to wear it on air as it sold out so early but I did manage to order a couple of other H by Halston pieces after my show.
I also had a tremendous Kim & Co show with Carla Lazlo and I have more of that range tonight for a two hour Fashion on Friday at 5pm. I then have my regular five day break and will be back next Thursday for Nizhoni Native American Silver at 2pm and Taya Haircare at 3pm.
I’m sincerely hoping it stays dry where you are for the rest of today (St. Swithin’s Day) and that you have a great weekend.
