Busy times, Diamonique Week and an interruption from Ali Y!

Misty & BrambleHiya, how is your January going so far? Are you sticking to the New Years resolutions? I'd love to hear how you're getting on, do leave a comment below.

It's been a busy time for me both at work and home. Little Misty and Bramble have been under the weather with sickness but seem to be on the mend now. A huge thanks to our vet and her wonderful caring ways. Misty in particular was fairly bad and I knew things weren't too good for her when she just stood and stared at her food 🙁 not a single mouthful passed her lips.

Our car needed a new clutch (ouch, that's expensive) but our garage did a brilliant job and always take good care of our car. Thank you.

My orders have been arriving from QVC including the CT1 for a spot of DIY I need to do. Our Yankee Candle holders turned up, and with some Christmas money I received I've ordered a beautiful Tiffany Style lamp. I actually ordered it during the show. I had no intention of buying it before the show, but it just looked fabulous on air and I couldn't resist!

Ali Young took it upon herself to pop in during the hour to satisfy my hunger pangs as I'd left my wallet at home. I think my guest, Anthony, felt a little left out!

PopcornLast week's mystery picture was a close up of a bowl of popcorn. I'm feeling peckish now! The mystery picture will return next week as I've no idea where I've placed my camera? I'm really hoping it isn't buried in the garden 😉

Some more fabulous shows on the way. I'm launching Diamonique Week this Sunday 19th at midnight with a beautiful Today's Special Value. I'm then back on air Monday afternoon at 4pm with another Diamonique show, then Elemis at 6pm. Busy busy!

I adore Diamonique, my most recent purchase was a little sterling silver elephant set with a Diamonique stone for the eye. It was a gift for Mum for Christmas and she adores it. Our Today's Special Value is a stunning stone mesh necklace – do hope you can join me.

Also, on the schedule I see I'm presenting Pampered Pets on Wednesday 22nd at 6pm. What is that saying about working with animals on TV…!?

I'm also on with Nina Leonard fashion that evening at 8pm. A fabulous range with a fabulous guest.

I'd love to meet you on Twitter, perhaps tweet me a picture of your favourite Diamonique design for me to show on air. I'm @mecharliebrook.

Ok, better dash, there's a lot of barking coming from the kitchen which means Misty has probably just spied the neighbours cat in our garden…

Take care,

Charlie x

    Hi Charlie
Sorry to hear Misty and Bramble have not been well,I do hope they are getting better.Bless them.
Hope you enjoyed the food Alison gave you. Your cake looks good enough to eat, the pieces that are missing did you cut it like that so we could see the middle or Charlie did you eat it. You cannot blame the dogs as they are not well.
Hope the cat was in the garden and not in the kitchen.
Looking forward to the shows coming up especially the Pampered Pets, I think all mine are pampered enough.
    Take care.
    Love Jean x

    Morning Charlie.
I think there must be something going around [ for the pets that is.] Bella has had an upset tummy for a few days and thought she might have to visit the vets but she seems a little better, although her skin is a little bad at the moment. I’m hoping her groomer will sort that out on Monday for her. Hope the girls are feeling better now. I’m looking forward to the ” Pampered pets ” hour, I was going to say ” are you bring in Misty and Bramble to show the products ???
I ordered the Thunder shirt for Bella [ not very optimistic about it working ] but it did calm her down during the new years fireworks and when we’ve had the heavy rain. Although there’s mixed reviews about it I’m pleased with it and glad I brought her one.
Will try and get a photo of her wearing it.
    Take care. Love to all.
Debby and Bella say’s a big Whoof.

hope your 2 doggies are well soon ,they do worry you when they are not well and they can`t tell you!!!
we have a cairn who is 6 yeas old but acts like he is still 2,he is having an operation on Monday to remove some benign tumours from around his ribcage ,am dreading it already as he will not sit still for very long,as I am writing this he is chasing around the kitchen with my socks.the other problem is that he will lose some of his lovely coat I know it will grow back quickly but he will feel and look a bit strange but will gets lots of sympathy from all the other dogs and their owners we meet on our daily walks.
am really hoping that jill finds her dog cannot imagine how she must be feeling.

    Hi Jackie and Alfie,
Thanks for your reply and support for Jill and Scruncher. This is a horrible, horrible time for her right now. I’ve just retweeted the appeal. Fingers crossed.
I do hope your Cairn is feeling better, they’re such a worry aren’t they and what a fabulous breed. I adore my cairns and like yours they have a real ‘thing’ about socks!
Do send me a picture, even with hair missing! You could tweet it to me I’m @mecharliebrook. Would love to see him.
    Take care
