Following on from my gift ideas for the guys blog earlier this month, I’ve been keeping an eye out for some imaginative foodie gifts that would be fantastic for gift giving this Christmas.
I have personally sampled these goodies too, so I can assure you that they are beyond yummy!
Firstly if you know someone who loves their home interiors as well as their chocolate, how about some fabulous Artisan du Chocolat Julien Macdonald Set of 2 Chocolate Tins?
With each set you get the signature Artisan du Chocolate Truffles plus your choice of either Champagne Strawberry Truffles or Salted Caramel Truffles in the second tin. They look very glamorous, taste delicious and you could always keep one tin for yourself.
If you have a sweet tooth but chocolate is not your thing then definitely take a look at the collections from Merangz. There are actually eight different collections online but my favourites are the Sparkly Merangz, which are packaged as five sets of two so you could have five gorgeous gourmet treats here if you split them up.
These meringues, topped off with an edible glitter coating, simply melt in your mouth and come in chocolate vanilla and strawberry, truly a taste sensation.
Finally, I have to give the top spot this year to Joe & Seph’s Christmas Cracker. The company have come up with some great packaging this year from selection boxes to collectable tins, designer popcorn filled tubes, baubles and Christmas stockings all of which you can find on our website.
The giant cracker, which incidentally is incredibly priced and actually snaps, contains five packs of scrummy popcorn as well as festive cracker hats and jokes, so a fabulous gift or perhaps even a change from the traditional table crackers on Christmas Day.
Now, if that has whet your appetite for some Christmas nibbles how about entering my festive food competition?
We have put together a selection of some of our delicious QVC goodies bound to keep your guests happy this Christmas, including everything you see in the picture and SO much more!
You’ll find popcorn, chocolates, toffees and even the The Snaffling Pig Pork Scratchings Advent Calendar!
Worth over £80 all you need to do is answer this simply festive food question:
In Charles Dickens’ novel ‘A Christmas Carol’, who serves up the Christmas pudding?
- A: Bob Marley
- B: Mrs Cratchit
- C: Scrooge
Post your answer in the comments below and make sure to leave an email address (don’t worry, this won’t be made public). The competition closes at noon on Friday 1st December and and I will announce the winner that day on my blog. Full terms and conditions can be found here.
Some great Black Friday offers
Now before I go I must tell you about some of the crazy deals happening at QVC for Black Friday. Firstly the LAB girls are back featuring their amazing Pro Lift system as our Today’s Special Value offer, which will run all day on Black Friday.
I have it on good authority that our offer will include a brand new device that is the latest innovation from LAB to help fight visible signs of anti-ageing around the eyes and lips!
I’ll also be launching our Bose offer which will run all day on Saturday at an incredible price. The Wave Music System from Bose is nothing short of iconic and the sound it reproduces is so true and clear, and I know for a fact that this is the lowest ever price we have been able to offer on the Wave System at QVC.
So, if you have ever thought about investing in true, quality sound don’t hesitate it’s an amazing deal. In the middle of all the TSV madness there are some superb electronic offers.
Watch out for one of my favourites the Amazon Echo. It’s one of those must have technologies which I find spooky and fascinating at the same time and for the fitness buff in your family, there’s a superb offer on the latest Fitbit too.
Whatever you decide to go for, QVC is a great way to shop on Black Friday, forget the hassle of the high street and parking nightmares at your nearest shopping centre, sit back relax and let QVC take care of all your shopping needs.
