BioEffect, flowers and smoothies – phew!

Hello and thank you so much for reading my blog!

Thank you also to all the wonderful comments on my last blog – we had a good old gossip about Cornwall and Molton Brown didn’t we?

So, it’s been a fun, sunny week at QVC!

Last week OPI were in the building giving presenters and guests nail treatments and telling us all about the new Alice in Wonderland collection. You can see Keely and I having fun with the ‘eat me’ cake – the other cakes were just too beautiful to eat!

Craig Rowe talks OPI cupcakes, Algenist face masks and healthy smoothies in his latest blog for QVC UK!

It’s also a very exciting week if you are looking for ground-breaking, scientifically-proven skincare. Icelandic brand, BioEffect, are re-launching their incredible EGF serum in a new size this Friday (13th May) in the morning show at QVC.

I did a trial and was pleasantly surprised by the results in under two weeks. The fact it is now available in a new smaller 5ml size with a much more affordable price point is going to be music to skincare fanatics’ ears! Watch my video here where I tell you about my results!

This last weekend was sheer joy – I got to work with Ralph from Honora on Sunday and you can see him, model Katherine and me outside the studio in various shades of blue!

And as the weather was so good we had a blissful two-hour garden show in our new garden set. We decided I was a daffodil and Richard was an iris!

And talking of gardening, that same day I was having a picnic with a friend by the river and I bumped into the lovely Lorna Ko – garden guest extraordinaire!

So, it’s a new week now and in a bid to crank up my health levels I have committed to having a green smoothie every day. Here is me making my favourite concoction in the presenter lounge. It is the most wonderful shade of vibrant green and contains kale, spinach, coriander, ginger, avocado blended with ice and apple juice – try it, it’s delicious!

How has your week been and what’s your plans for the next week or so? Have you tried BioEffect? Do you like OPI nails? Are you a fan of QVC gardening? SO many questions – do get in touch!

Big big hugs

    Hi Craig!

I love OPI products, my fave being the cuticle exfoliating treatment and avoplex oil on the go. I have the treatment on my desk at work and the oil in my bag ready to go whenever I get a second – they are amazing and I really notice a difference using them. QVC had a great set a while ago which I stockpiled I love them so much!

I also use a few of the gardening products. I have Plant invigorator, container magic and flower power. My geraniums have been flowering constantly for two years…I would like to think it was me…but I think it is more down to Flower Power! I have just bought some orchids for my house, can I use flower power on them too? Does Richard have any tips on how not to kill them??

My favourite detox drink to make is a take on a frozen strawberry margarita….Berries are a super fruit after all! 😉

Looking forward to the next Blog.

      Hi Amy!

So great to hear from you as always!!! Good to hear you like the OPI products, and great idea to take a couple around with you so you can use them often!

Flower power can be used on any living plant/flower so yes I would say go for it! It will also help to prolong the life of it so let me know how it goes!

I’m really liking the sound of your favourite detox drink! Might have to try that one myself! 😉

      Catch up soon!

Wow Craig… Keely looks scary….!!! So relived she didn’t do that face to me when I visited her Salon a few years ago for a relaxing facial and massage…!!!

I’ve not tried the green smoothie but I have been encouraged to drink green ginseng Tea which not being a Tea drinker has been difficult to get use too but I am sticking to it!!
    Have a great weekend!

hI Craig that smoothie is great a similar one reccommended by Liz Earle i think good luck! I like it and try to have one at least twice a week.
Love the blue! guess you all go the memo!! I am a member of the ME association and they had a “Go Blue Awareness day” last week, wearing blue nail varnish, blue balloons outside your house to Blue iced buns! Doing anything your energy would allow to get the illness recognised.
Love the pic of Keely! she is such a fun lady it shows in all her presentations. great products too, especially frangipani massage oil… a rea MUST TRY product, even better if you can get a massage!
    Stay Happy Jill X
