Behind the scenes on our fashion shoot

Get a sneak peek of our upcoming fashion event now!

We’re taking you behind the scenes of our latest fashion shoot for the upcoming 50 Hours of Fashion event. It kicks off on Thursday with an amazing two hour catwalk show, styled by Lesley Ebbetts, starting at 6pm.

Entire crew

We were so chuffed to be part of the shoot, and took a few snaps to show you our cameramen, set and styling crew as they filmed models wearing key pieces from the QVC autumn/winter collections.

Surrounded by thousands of golden fallen leaves, the models wore pieces from Join Clothes, Bob Mackie, Michele Hope and Yong Kim and gorgeous accessories from Tignanello, Lola Rose and Clarks and more.

Cameraman and model

We loved being able to see the filming in action; watching from behind the cameramen and director as they framed shots and got the advert to look exactly right.

Prepping leaves

Each shot has to be perfectly styled and the leaves and clothes have to look exactly right before the camera can roll.

Model on camera

We totally think it’s worth all the effort though, the advert looks absolutely beautiful – well done QVC crew!

Just watched the 2 hour catwalk show with Julia and Lesley – absolutely loved it. Fabulous show. Would love to see more like this. Great mix of brands and really inspiring to see how your wonderful stylists put outfits together. Also really appreciate the easy payments! :-))

    Dear QVC,

The new website is annoying, the videos just show “invalid source” so cant watch anything that has been on air, where has “Web Firsts” gone? And having to scroll down a long page Home Page to view anything now is annoying like something from 10 years ago. Also its a mistake to take off the home page the Item On Air Now bit… now you have to search the item on air because the “items recently on air” page is so slow…the site has now become just the same as the USA one, no fun in browsing anymore, I used to enjoy the website, I don’t now… its not been changed for the better at all.

Cant even complete the Site Feedback because you cant move forward from page 4….or contact you through your email page as the message goes nowhere?

Wont be visiting the site everyday like I used to. QVC has become another irritating shopping website constantly having to click different pages to find anything, that in the end no one wants to use.

Very disappointing to find that the website has become so poorly put together.
