On Beauty Insider this week: Novexpert, Cailyn and more!

Another week, another Beauty Insider show, and I can’t wait to share with you what’s coming up tonight!

Look out for my top picks

Cailyn is a make-up range that we launched in January with some real innovative and problem-solving products.  An engineered collection with skincare added in to every step, this is a modern approach to make-up with long wear formulas, all of which are HD ready.

This range has many awards to its credit and some very clever products such as the BB Fluid Touch Compact, modern glue formulas and fantastically designed modern brushes that give an up-to-date, smooth finish without hair marks. Check out the O! Curve Brush which is a dressing table must have.

This is a great range for creating the new natural look which, yes, can give you every day ease and performance but can also help you create on-trend fashion looks too. There’s products here for you to strobe and contour, define brows, and accentuate your lashes and line work for incredibly long wear.

We’all also be bringing you some fabulous products from haircare masters, Taya. As well as the Today’s Special Value for the day, I love the Inner Core Anti Breakage Strengthening Mist, it’s perfect for reviving limp and lackluster hair that’s prone to breaking, maybe through over-processing. Its formulation of Brazilian black clay and raw bamboo fibres, as well as macadamia and olive oils are a really hydrating treat for those of you looking to get that silkiness back that you may have lost.

We are also really thrilled to have Kirsty back with Novexpert.  This is a direct from the lab, high potency skin range.  For those of you that are skin connoisseurs and love your ingredients and need them in high concentrations to see results, then this is definitely a brand for you.

A’kin will be back with me too and I can’t wait to show you the Organic Rosehip Oil Collection, as well as the Intense Hydration Day and Night Cream. They really harness the power of botanicals to bring you skincare that’s antioxidant rich and above all, supremely hydrating for the skin. I think you’ll love adding these two fantastic products to your existing beauty regime and enjoying the results as well as the gorgeous, natural scents.

Our Supersize of the Month is proving popular

If you read the Beauty Insider blog last week, then you’ll know that our Supersize of the Month is the M. Asam Perfect Teint, offering a clear, matte formula to help disguise the look of wrinkles, pores and lines, without making skin look or feel dry. It’s a really clever formula and should be applied directly on top of make-up, rather than underneath as it can roll off and create a bumpy texture. It’s packed with a retinol peptide complex and can be used by all skin types, tones and ethnicities – it’s so clever! If you like a more natural effect, mix with a tinted moisturiser for a lighter coverage.

A new launch you’ll love

We have an exciting new launch hour with Deciem (which is otherwise known in the industry as the Abnormal Beauty Company) coming up at 6pm on Tuesday 18th April. Brandon, the founder, has turned the industry on its head in his approach, creating 10 modern, forward thinking brands at once from their Canadian labs.

You are already familiar with NIOD but this, a special show, will allow you to have access to all of the different price points, textures and problem solving solutions no matter what your preferred technology is. You’ll see everything from Fountain (containing skincare-aimed supplements) to The Ordinary  (great price points on industry-favoured ingredients such as argon oil, rosehip, caffeine and retinoid) to name but a few so this hour will have something for everyone! This is a very cool brand with modern, clean, clinical packaging and will be a very exiting hour to watch.

Hello Alison,I’ve used many brands from QVC over the years and love them all,but I could do with some advice I’m 40 yrs and have noticed a slight pigmentation mark on my forehead and I’m not sure to go for the beauty pick of month or the alpha h as a sunscreen I think there both factor 50,and after reading some of the reviews about the ultra sun apparently it makes no difference to pigmentation (I know every skin reacts differently) so your expert advice would be appreciated, many thanx Angela x
