Hello!
Hope you are well.
I am actually away in Cyprus with my family this week, so I’ll put some holiday pics on the next blog. We are having a wonderful time needless to say; I’ll tell you more when I’m back.
I did want to tell you about two very special things that happened last week…
Firstly I had my first Murad facial and it was incredible! Murad is a skincare brand that has cult status in the USA and it’s getting more and more popular here – bit like a secret for those in the know. Founded by Dr Murad, the products are really results drive and salon standard. I had seen some really good results trying selected Murad products, and then the beauty buyers suggested I have a facial to get the full experience.
Well, what can I say – it was fantastic! The room was Beauty Confidential at House of Fraser in Oxford Street – a calm haven that was spacious and decorated in rich dark woods and soft lighting. The facialist was a lady called Natasha who clearly knows what she is doing (I felt star struck to know that right before me she had given a facial to one of the Sex and the City actresses!).
The facial was about one and a half hours and involved a peel, deep-cleanse facial massage, lymphatic draining and radiance. I can honestly say in my 43 years on the planet, I left there feeling my skin had never looked so good, clear, and radiant, plus any tiredness or puffiness had vanished – what a result! I am now going to trial using the full Murad skin routine for a few weeks and will report back.
In the photo you can see me and lovely Zoe Shaw from Murad right before the facial. Not sure why I didn’t take one afterwards, I think I was walking round on clouds!
The other rather beautiful event last week was seeing my QVC colleague and dear friend Justine Balmer perform in her showcase. The event took place at Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly Circus and was a very glamorous affair with music industry professionals, record companies and close family and friends. It was a way for Justine to showcase her incredible talent. I was joined by QVC colleagues Lee Hobein, Patrick Hoy, Marie-Francoise Wolf and Gabrielle Bradshaw, and we were all blown away by our friend Justine who was quite simply world class! Do check out her website JustineBalmer.com to hear her perform – I reckon she has a big future ahead!
So, that’s it for now – I will put some holiday photos up next week but in the meantime would love to know if you have ever had a facial and also what beauty range or ranges have really worked for you.
Bye from Cyprus!
Hugs,
Craig
xx

Hope you are having a great time in the sun with your family. I have never had a facial love to have one though. I think my favourite skin care has to be Liz Earle. Cleanse and polish and superskin cream. My sensitive skin loves it. Enjoy your week Sue x
