Back Together Again!

CherriesHello! If you're a parent with kiddies off school I hope you're having fun!

We're having a fabulous time. We recently bought a trampoline and are bouncing regularly…. It's lots of fun (although the building of it took me several hours and Bramble and Misty kept running off with the tools!)

We're very fortunate to have a cherry tree in our garden and this year we had the most amazing crop. Most years we miss out as the birds get to them first but this year they were left alone, maybe the presence of the puppies perhaps? In total we easily picked enough to fill a couple of carrier bags! I took in several batches to Alison Young plus several tubs to our neighbours, family and friends. Next year I'm planning to make a cherry pie or jar of cherry jam. You know how I like my food!

So, we're back together again! Dale and I are presenting three hours of diamonds this Sunday afternoon (4th August) at 5pm. We'll be on our best behaviour, honest! We have to be as it isn't past the watershed at that time of day. Do hope you can join us. If you've missed the promo for the show….you can take a look here… Oscar nominating surely! Lol!

ButterflyOn the subject of gems. Destination Gems is on air this Tuesday evening (6th August) at 8pm for the last time before its summer break. A beautiful line up for you and I'm hoping to be joined by a special guest. Also, this is your last chance to enter our competition for the beautiful champagne quartz. Simply tweet or post a picture of you wearing a piece of QVC jewellery. I'm @mecharliebrook and all the terms and conditions can be found here.

Finally, back to the topic of the garden and all things beautiful! We're seeing so many butterflies this year and I managed to snap this shot… Not sure of the species, Red Admiral perhaps?

Take care,

Charlie x

    Hi Charlie,
Who is the trampoline for the children or Charlie.
Wow what a lot of cherries they look delicious. There is a farm just up the lane from us who started growing cherries, several different varieties last year, they have a huge orchard. They are now ready so I must go there tomorrow to get some, thanks Charlie you reminded me.
I am not sure but I think the butterfly is what they call a Peacock, yes there are lots about this year, and a few more bees as well. I love butterflies.
Looking forward to watching the show with you and Dale, I can remember your last one, great show. I like the video of you both, where is Dale’s biscuit, you did not eat it did you.
    Hope the dogs are okay.
    Speak soon.

    Morning Charlie.
Thank you for solving the 2 puzzles. When I told Bella that Ragsy WAS a girl she just looked at me as if to say ” huh told you so”. Bella wins again.
Looking forward to the ” Charlie and Dale ” show on Sunday [ not because I like diamonds] but just for the banter.
Hope your few weeks off with the family is a fun time.
    Take care.
Debby and big whoofs from Bella

Hello, Jean, thanks for getting in touch. Confession, I don’t think I did share the biscuit with Dale and I managed to eat several during the various takes we did of the promo!
There are lots of butterflies this year although they’re taking shelter, as I write this, from the pouring rain 🙁
    Kind regards
