Back at The Q again

Double Hibiscus TSVHi all,

Thank you for your comments, as always they are much appreciated. As you've probably guessed, I've been off for a few days (half term), not doing much really, just relaxing and re-charging the batteries. Although I did manage to squeeze in a rather amazing 30th birthday party on Monday night.

The party was held in a posh West End venue in honour of my godson's birthday. He runs a successful West End theatrical and TV management company and represents many well known faces of stage and screen. The party was karaoke with a difference – a live band actually played instead of a CD etc.

As you can imagine, I like a sing song but when I heard the first singer (who I'd seen sing on primetime TV before) I decided to leave it to the pros – I know that's not the spirit of karaoke and to be fair the worse the singer the bigger the cheer, but I just decided to stay quiet.

Almost all the singers were very talented stars of TV or stage, or in a few cases both, and it was more like going to a concert as the band were amazing as well – a great night out. Oh, and I also bumped into an old friend and colleague Sara Griffiths, who also decided not to sing! It was lovely to catch up with her and she sends her regards.

I'm back on-air tonight (Wednesday into Thursday) with Richard Jackson and a lovely Double Flowering Hardy Hibiscus as Today's Special Value (TSV)!

Then on midnight Friday into Saturday I'll be launching a  great Laptop TSV from Dell. We haven't featured a Dell laptop TSV for around 18 months and this one is sure to be popular with almost everyone, particularly crafters as it includes an 'Arts and Craft' software suite valued at around £100.

I won't go into the spec in detail but it features a superfast new AMD Quad Core processor and comes with 15 months McAfee antivirus software and in a choice of red, black or blue (that's the laptop, not the software!!) Oh and in 4 Easy Payments too!! Nice !

I'll be blogging again later this week with details of Monday's Charlie Bears TSV and the long-awaited introduction to F******* F**!?!

Take care,
Dale x

Back at The Q and he’s already teasing
This mystery ‘bear’ had better be pleasing
So clearly not called Dale’icious or QPid
Just what name then for one so illusive
Not one name but two, both starting with ‘F’
The last must be ‘Fox’, the first still to guess
Inspired by Dale, will the image be spitting
And if that’s the case, what name then is fitting
    ‘Fabulous’, ‘Fetching’, possibly ‘Frolicky’
Or one more precise to AKA ‘Mr T’
For nigh on six weeks, he’s kept us all dangling
But now it seems clear, the first name is ‘Franklin’!
Save one for me Daleo …………… and a ‘Franklin Fox’ as well!!!
