Hello and a warm welcome to the month of March! So springtime is here, evenings are definitely getting lighter and we’ve had some incredibly mild temperatures recently. How has the weather been where you are? I was chatting to Dad and we were remembering when I was a child – icicles the size of carrots hanging off our guttering! We don’t seem to see them these days.
I have a fabulous Today’s Special Value that I’m launching, which we’ll move onto in a moment, but first let’s highlight the birthstone for the month of March… which is Aquamarine!
Another beautiful gemstone and from the Beryl family, so is closely related to Emerald and Morganite. Pure Beryl is colourless but it’s the trace elements that aid the colour and characteristics, and for Aquamarine the colour is achieved with a helping hand of iron.
The name Aquamarine is derived from the words ‘aqua marina’, which translates to ‘sea – water’ and when you look into the colour it is truly worthy of its name. It reminds me of tropical lagoons and the beautiful waters of the Maldives.
Here are a number of designs that have taken our breath away!
Starting with this exquisite ring with 2.25 carats of Aquamarine and nearly a fifth of a carat of diamond. The frame of diamond sets of the Aquamarine perfectly and I love the way the diamond pours down the shoulders too. It’s sure to receive lots of attention!
Then, there are these gorgeous Aquamarine and Diamond drop earrings. Such a flattering style. There’s a sheer elegance about the design, which I love, and the diamond arrangement is spellbinding.
Finally, another pair of earrings which are a classic. Set off perfectly in the 9ct gold, this is solitaire style.
You’ll find more stunning designs on our website and, of course, everything is backed by our thirty day money back guarantee!
I’m really thrilled to be on air this coming Tuesday 5th March at midnight as we head into Wednesday, with the Alison Cork Today’s Special Value. It’s the beautiful Matte Satin Bedspread.
The design is exquisite and finishes off the bedroom perfectly. The pattern is Art Deco inspired and works really well in our modern styled bedroom but will equally be fitting for a more traditional setting too. Five fabulous colours to choose from including the grey, which my Cairn Terriers seem to have taken a liking to!
I hope you can join us. The price has been hinted to me and it’s brilliant!
See you soon.
I’m on Twitter and Instagram. It’s always fun to hear from you @mecharliebrook.
Take care 🙂
