Hello, I hope this week’s blog finds you well!
So where did January go? I can’t believe February is already here – and isn’t it lovely that the days are getting longer now?
I’ve been on some glorious walks and we’ve had the occasional light dusting of snow from time to time, which has been beautiful. For some reason, my Cairns get especially excited when they can charge around and roll in the snow! I’m tempted to join in!
So it’s time to celebrate the birthstone for the month which is Amethyst. Arguably the most recognised and best-known member of the quartz family. A gemstone which has been prized and cherished for a very long time and enjoyed by Royalty too! There are many sources available around the world including Brazil, Australia and Germany.
I adore this gemstone and am lucky enough to own an amethyst geode which I treated myself to a number of years ago. It sits with pride in our hallway. The colour of this gem is truly stunning, and is achieved with traces of iron or manganese.
Here are some designs which have really caught my eye…
Firstly this Amethyst & Diamond Halo Ring . This piece is breathtaking, in 9ct gold, and the halo of diamond sets off the amethyst perfectly. The stone measures an impressive 12mm x 10mm and is 4.50 carats! It’s sure to attract plenty of admiring glances!
How about this Beaded Bracelet? This really pretty design boasts 1.20 carats of amethyst. The colour is shown off brilliantly in the rhodium plated sterling silver, and I adore the beaded frame that surrounds the stone.
Finally, here’s a show stopper! An amazing 13.50 carats in an octagon cut stone, in rhodium plated sterling silver. It’s available in three gorgeous colours – pink, purple and green amethyst! Fabulous!
So many exquisite jewellery designs to choose from and of course you have your peace of mind with our 30 day money back guarantee as well.
