So the Easter holidays have now finished and we are back to school all feeling a little glum but we’ve had a wonderful couple of weeks, packed loads of fun things in and really been fortunate with amazing weather! We went to Wales as you read in my last blog, had Easter down in West Sussex with my sister and then this last weekend we were home in Stratford upon Avon where we took part in local celebrations for Shakespeare’s birthday. It’s always a huge affair each year and this was no different… and the sun came out in all its glory!
With the weather being so gorgeous, we couldn’t resist a little row down the river… I have to say it’s the first time that Myles and Beely have managed to row on their own, much hilarity was had of course, particularly when we were all switching places and the boat was rocking furiously!!
I took all of these photos with my new camera, I’ve been wanting a proper one for a while now. My phone camera is good, but nothing beats the real deal and so I treated myself to the Canon M3 just before Christmas. I still often forget to take it out with me but not on this occasion! I adore the quality of the pics I can get, and I’m still on auto mode!!
Anyway, spring cleaning continues, I have piles of post hols laundry to do and with the sunshine comes the need for clean windows. A month or so ago I ordered the Karcher window cleaner which has been amazing at getting my windows looking almost new. It’s not just grubby hands on the inside, living next to a field means that we get loads of dust, pollen and all sorts stuck to the outside so this makes all the difference!
I hope you are well and look forward to catching up soon either on air, on twitter or here.
