Amanda Holden on her brand new ladybird necklace

You may know Amanda Holden as a superstar judge on Britain’s Got Talent and for her beautiful homeware range, BundleBerry, but now it’s time to fall in love with her wonderfully sparkling new necklace designed in collaboration with Diamonique.

Available to buy right now, this truly stunning piece of jewellery comes in a choice of rhodium or rose gold plating and features Amanda’s signature ladybird in glittering pendant form.

We caught up with the star of stage and screen to talk about her latest design and why it means so much to her…

Why are you such a big jewellery fan?

I’ve always loved jewellery, I’m a bit of a magpie to be honest so anything that sparkles is fantastic for me.

What’s the inspiration behind your ladybird necklace?

The ladybird is a feature throughout BundleBerry; it’s on every single item. BundleBerry is named after our children and the ladybird is a very symbolic, spiritual little insect that has a huge meaning behind it for me and my husband.

Why did you choose to bring this particular jewellery design to QVC?

The ladybird has been very popular. People message me on social media all the time and talk to me about the symbolism of it. I had no idea that it’s actually a good luck charm globally! So that’s why I thought let’s spread the love, let’s spread the luck and let’s make a pendant everyone can carry close to their heart every day.

Why did you want to collaborate with Diamonique?

Diamonique is a brand that I particularly love. I see them all the time on QVC, I wear an awful lot of their stuff. The jewellery is beautifully designed and when they made this special necklace for me, I knew they’d do a sensational job. The design perfectly matches the symbol we’d already created that appears throughout my range. The attention to detail and the tiny little parts that they’ve created when you look very closely is amazing.

Of the silver and rose gold, which is your favourite?

That’s like asking me to choose my favourite child! I love them both but I think the rose gold because I have a lot of other jewellery that matches. But I know that silver is very popular and I also have a lot of silver jewellery so I think I’ll just go for both!

When and where could you wear it?

I think it’s one of those necklaces that even though it’s very special, it can also be an everyday thing. You can wear it when you’re going out on a special occasion, a birthday party, Christmas, but actually it feels like a daily comfort blanket for me already. It’s beautifully made so I think why wait for a special occasion, why not wear it all the time?

Who would this make the perfect gift for?

It’s the perfect gift for anybody. I think it’s a really thoughtful, touching present especially because of the story behind it. I think for anyone that you want to wish good fortune or good luck, or send your love to, this fits the bill perfectly.

Could you see yourself designing more jewellery?

Because I care so passionately about BundleBerry and I love the necklace, I just want to take things one step at a time. I think if people really love it, I might do a little charm bracelet or an ankle bracelet, or maybe a brooch. I just really hope people love the necklace as much as I do!

Thanks for chatting Amanda! Don’t forget, the BundleBerry by Amanda Holden Ladybird Necklace is available to buy right now online.

Its a very pretty necklace and very unique. All my jewellery is mainly Diamonique because of its exceptional quality and authentic looks and this necklace is no exception. Roll on payday when I hope to purchase it. Well done Amanda. X
