All things festive and my book launch!

Just a quick blog today – I wanted to share a few photos with you from my book launch shenanigans over the weekend, after my second murder mystery novel The Deadline was released on Thursday.

I had fun doing a book signing at Octavo’s book shop in Cardiff on Friday, and then on Saturday headed to London for a party with some of the other authors who are published by my publisher Accent Press, where we met up with some lovely book bloggers and reviewers.

One of the bloggers made me some amazing cupcakes decorated with miniatures of my book cover – almost too good to eat!

Some lovely photos were taken so here’s a little selection:

I was delighted to be back at work in time for the Alison Cork Today’s Special Value on Monday though. Such a gorgeous festive willow tree! I’d been lucky enough to get a sample ahead of time and I tried it out in my living room.

I’ve decided this is going to be my main Christmas tree this year, so I wanted to treat myself to some beautiful baubles to hang on it.

Feather baubles

We have a superb collection this year at QVC, so it took a while to choose, but I finally plumped for these beautiful beaded feather ones. I can’t wait to get the tree up now – roll on December!

Hope you’re enjoying the autumn so far.

Much love, Jackie xx

    Hi Theresa,
Yes until last year I always had a green tree but I’m quite liking trying something different. This new one is SO lovely! And thanks for the kind wishes.
    Love Jackie x
