All hail Karcher and their floor cleaning game-changer!

Hello. How have you all been keeping? We are all well in my house, and starting to get excited for summer now. The garden is in full bloom. My irises are huge this year, and we also found some little visitors enjoying an intimate moment hiding in the verbenas. Izzy said it was a mummy with a baby on its back, so let’s go with that 😉

As soon as we are all out in the garden, the kitchen floor takes a battering, and I am not a fan of the mop and bucket, and vacuuming and mopping can get tiresome. Well, the other day we had a show with Karcher’s new hard wood floor cleaner, and I asked lovely Russell if I could test drive one.

I’m so impressed with this. Karcher advise this will vacuum small debris, but my floors were filthy! There were left-over fish fingers on the floor, from where Josh just throws food at his face with his mouth open and hopes some goes in, but it tackled that perfectly. I saved so much time with vaccuming and cleaning the floor at the same time, take a look:

And the grime that came off was embarrassing! Take a look:

I was also able to get this around the loo and under the bath, again soo speedy! Unlike steam mops there’s no heat with this machine. We have original tiles and floor boards in our hallway and front room that I’d be too nervous to use a steam mop with… this tackled them beautifully and I didn’t need to vacuum beforehand! It’s seriously amazing.

You get two sets of rollers so I would use one for downstairs and one for the bathrooms, and you get the floor cleaner too. You use hardly any water, it’s hygienic, so fantastic with the dog and kids, floors are dry pretty much straight away and it’s self-cleaning, but if you want to you can pop the rollers in a 60 degree wash. I honestly love it.

The only consideration would be the weight if you’re doing floors in a loft bedroom, it weighs 4.6kg which is the same as the average domestic cat according to the internet! I found it perfectly manageable, and much more preferable than carrying a bucket of water upstairs and a soggy mop, and definitely a lot lighter than other models.

You can store it anywhere as it doesn’t need to charge, it has a small foot print, and a 7m cord so it’s easy to plug in around the home. If you want to test drive one for yourself then we have our 30 day money-back guarantee, so give it a go, I think you’re going to love it and can bin the mop and bucket for good! Woo hoo!

Sorry my blog is short and sweet this week, but I’ve got a ton of laundry to get through and a food shop before the kids get back from school!

Thanks for reading my blog

Speaks soon, Alex xx
