A year older and a wonderful week!

Hello there – thank you so much for reading my blog.

So, here I am – same Craig but with another digit added to my age!

As you know last week was my birthday and what a truly wonderful week it was! The weather in London was lovely and on the 21st and 22nd (my birthday) we had some warm, sunny intervals. Look at the pics of Tower Bridge and The Shard area near to where I live, blue sky and warm sun – perfect September weather!

I also get reflective around my birthday and I really feel grateful for my health; a few years ago I had a back injury that even made walking difficult but with lots of stretching and rehabilitation with my trainer Maciej (@locomaciej on Twitter) and doing my best to stay supple and flexible as possible I am blessed to say my back is in good shape and I think the photo shows that. It’s not a perfect arch but I am getting there!

Hope you like the pics of my birthday; in the daytime I had some time with my friend Hemi in Brixton village, a birthday brekky, a trip to Ms Cupcake and watching the new Bridget Jones film (the PERFECT film to see on my birthday as the film starts with it being Bridget’s birthday! Although she was turning 43, drat one year younger than me!).

Then in the evening a group of friends and I went to see ‘Barbu’ – a circus/acrobatic/hi jinx show with an amazing cast and fantastic energy.  We even got to hang out with the cast afterwards.

Then, it was back to QVC at the weekend to be part of Countdown to Christmas, The Poppy Collection and even had the luck to run into star of ‘The Hills’ and ‘Made in Chelsea’, Stephanie Pratt as she was making her jewellery debut on qvc with her friend and business partner, Andraya Smith with MeMe London.

So, all in all a great week and what now feels like a fresh start. For me there are two ‘new’ starts to the year, one is when spring begins and one is right after my birthday. New plans, new hopes, new dreams and feeling blessed of where life has taken me so far.

Really excited for this week too as I am hosting the 4th anniversary show of Sandy Bay London. This is the most beautiful range of bouquet fragrance and I’m so excited that there will be a set especially designed for men in tones of grey – heaven! There is even a set in the show inspired by an English Afternoon Tea, scrummy!

Do drop me a line, would love to hear from you and what else you have loved about September.

Big, big hugs

Craig xxx
