A wonderful walk in Kent

Craig outside a traditional Kent oast houseHello, hope you had a good weekend?

We've been blessed with some bright sunny days recently – cold but bright and clear – perfect weather for a good old country walk.

I really love getting my walking boots on and rambling through the countryside, with plenty of time for a pub lunch of course!

Last weekend myself and a few friends took the train down from London to Sevenoaks and did an amazing walk round the Kent countryside.

We started and ended at Sevenoaks station and walked through some gorgeous landscape and the route even included taking in the grounds of two beautiful National Trust properties; Igtham Mote and Knole Park.

Craig and his friends set out on their walkAt Knole Park I was amazed at the beautiful deer who surround you and seem completely obvlious to all the crazy humans buzzing round them and taking photos!

As the winter draws in I still hope we get enough dry days to get out and enjoy the country air – it's so good for you, isn't it?!

Deer at Knole ParkWould love to hear of any country walks in your area that you love to do.
