Get ready for a whole day devoted to gardening!

The weather is warming up, the daffs are blooming and suddenly it feels great to be to be outside in the garden again. To help us make the most of it, QVC are dedicating a whole day to gardening this Saturday 11th March.

That’s right, 24 hours of gardening heaven! Packed with lots of wonderful new plants, new products and new ideas. We actually trialed the idea last spring and it was incredibly popular. I didn’t think we could improve on last season, but I already know that this year, it’s going to be even better!

The star of the day is Easy Clean, our much anticipated brand new patio, decking and outdoor surface cleaner. Regular viewers will know that we’ve sold a very popular cleaner in the past, but Easy clean is made with new generation, super concentrated ingredients that go further and are even better value. Simply dilute with water, spray and walk away. There’s no scrubbing or pressure washing required, and the green algae growth starts to go in days – and then stays away for months! If that’s not impressive enough, Easy Clean is also a wood preservative, so will help your decking and fences last longer too.

Plant lovers will be delighted to know that Claire Austin, award-winning author and world expert on hardy perennials, has a whole hour (at 12.00) devoted to her brilliant plants including the show-stopping, lemon-scented Peony ‘Bartzella’. There’s also a full hour devoted to Hayloft Plants (18.00) and David Ponton has included one of my (and QVC viewers) all-time favourites, the easy-grow Begonia Apricot shades.

We’ve lots of great products planned too, including the stylish and practical Sentry wooden shed (the smartest shed I know), the new Karcher K2 compact pressure washer with car and home kit which is powerful, portable and amazing value for money, and the superb Webb self-propelled mower which is packed with quality features for a great price.

It’s a real treat to have an entire day devoted to gardening at QVC Saturday 11th March.  I just can’t wait to be part of it. I very much hope you can join us too.

Happy gardening!

I’ll be tuning in too! So ready for Spring. Already started to tidy up in the garden. It feels so good to be out in the fresh air, hands in the soil and revisiting plants and flowers after the winter months. Have fun!
