Hello and thanks for checking out my blog. Hope you have had some good weather where you are?
A few things to report this week… This Sunday I’ll be back in the garden on QVC with Michael Perry for his own show and the “Whimsical Garden” – a great chance to get inspired for getting the most of your garden this summer. Have a peek at our gardening department here.
Now my flat is finally getting close to being finished there has been lots of cleaning and organising to do and this is where my knowledge of great household products really helps; cleaning the windows covered in building dust with the brilliant Invisible Glass. Of all the gadgets and solutions I have tried this delivers the best results on windows and glass I have ever seen and the reviews agree – 105 out of 108 reviews are 5 star! If the sunshine is showing and your windows are in need of a good spruce up, give it a try.
I only have a small balcony in my flat and I am not the best gardener but have made an effort to pot up a few plants – here I am getting busy with Richard Jackson’s compost and giving the plants some much needed Flower Power. I will take photos of the plants as they flower – check out Richard Jackson’s range here.
I like to be organised (it’s my inner Virgo!) and I find the household works better when there is a place for everything and everything is in its place. This is where The Camouflage Company comes in – their range of boxes, caddies and chests mean there can be organised storage wherever you need it. You can see some of their caddies here in the household area for my kitchen keeping everything neat and tidy.
I am still on my health kick! Been following a plan for a couple of months with around a month left to go. I haven’t been 100% perfect sticking to it but I have thrown myself into it more than any plan I’ve followed before. This is mainly due to health concerns I had around my weight and blood sugar. One of my favourite breakfast drinks is this latte protein shake – milk of your choice, vanilla protein power, some oats and a shot of coffee, bung it in the Ninja and hey presto! Top it with cinnamon or nutmeg for extra yumminess 🙂
Finally here is a shot of DIY & Gardening guest Tommy Cross from the weekend “Tools for the Home and Garden” show. It’s great fun working with Tommy and if you need some advice or inspiration for DIY around your home check out our range.
So, that’s if from me this week. I will post another blog next week where I’ll tell you what’s in store for Kelly Hoppen home and an exciting event at QVC called ‘Got To Have it’.
Until then big hugs as ever,
