A very, very Merry Christmas!

RainbowHello, and a very, very Merry Christmas to you! It's arrived!

They never fail to put a smile on my face, rainbows! I caught this snap on my phone just before heading into a game of squash with my son a few days ago!

However, he quickly wiped the smile off my face when he thrashed me! There is something very magical about a rainbow. And, of course, no matter how close we get to the rainbow we'll never reach the end of it!

Which reminds me, is the Wizard of Oz on this Christmas time? What a great film. I'm pleased to say, that at long last, I'm no longer afraid of the wicked witch of the west, or is it east? In fact, I think it's both! Another classic, which I just love, is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! I was lucky enough to see the stage version in London a few years ago; they really did the film justice.

Do have a wonderful time over the next few days. I'm back on air this Wednesday evening (28th December) at midnight with a fabulous Today's Special Value – it's a steam mop with some fantastic features.

Right, I'm heading into the kitchen now (writing this from home) to find a box of mince pies I bought a few days ago but seem to have misplaced!

Take care, Merry Christmas and see you soon!!

Hi Charlie, I love rainbows too and have often taken photos of them, it’s a good photo Charlie. Still don’t have any cracker jokes but you may laugh at this! When in London I was in a taxi moving from one hotel to my favourite one and as we drew up to Rubens Hotel I thought the taxi driver said “Are you a reveller”?! I thought “What a cheek”! I then realised he’d said “Are you a regular?” meaning staying at the hotel which I am! I hope you found your mince pies?! They are nice warm with cream or ice cream! You are like me – you can eat what you like and don’t put an inch on! I often say “it’s eating so much that keeps me so slim”! We are very lucky! Have a lovely Christmas Charlie and all the best for the New Year to you and your family, Christine xx PS Northern Nights is on at 10, I will be watching!

    Hello Christine!
Thanks for your reply. I have lost count of the number of mince pies I have eaten! Your hotel ‘reveller’ story is very funny!
    Best wishes

Hello Debi, thanks for your reply!
Lucky you being off til the 3rd Jan. The nail laquer sounds out of this world.
I saw a bit of the Wizard of Oz on Boxing Day (Think it was on channel 5). My Dad threatened to sing along to ‘if I only had a brain’ so we swiftly turned over….!
Take care and happy new year!
